@Agent Gibbs runs the probies, are you still in? The new season begins next week! I don't recall who knows Liverpool's manager though so if they could get in touch with him that'd be great : peace: As always recruitment is an ongoing struggle so if anyone does know anyone they could ask to join it would really help out the league. We could be looking at dropping to two divisions if we lose more teams. Fake teams 1 & 2 wouldn't be bad teams to take over early in the season if anyone knows someone who could start soon... thinking of that would @flameboy or @Blue Rogue be interested in taking over those teams when the world cup league has ended? At the very least it would be more practise before creating new teams for next season if you'd still want to.

That's awesome. Secret bases are the best thing about those games.

Just started watching this a week ago and I'm near the end of season 1. I didn't expect it to grab me as much as it has but it really picks up after the first few episodes. Like Flameboy I was drawing comparisons to Batman at first but as the show goes off you really see how different the two characters are.

It's no problem, we're not gonna keep people around against their will lol You can get a good youth prospect if you're lucky with the youth academy (and put money into it) who you can train up or sell for millions and purchase a strong, older player. AC Elites/Ellmeister went the route of building up cash then buying lots of strong players and he's now in the Elite league after a few seasons. I personally like the grind so I've gone the way of building up a team from youths. I've been lucky enough to get some strong youths come through and the younger they are, the more they raise from development. So I now have a 19-8 and 20-9 (where the average/baseline is 19-5, 20-6). Whether you develop from a young team or build up funds for stronger players, it's always going to be a bit of a grind before you get anywhere but that would be true of any game I think :p hopefully we'll see you back again some time later

Thanks for giving it a go and you're welcome to come back to it at any time Would've been nice to know before starting the new season though :p @Zell sorry but I'm not having any more friendlies before the season starts

You must be nuts if you think I want to suffer another season at the top :p tbh I'm happy to still be in the elite league but if I were to choose I would've preferred to go down

New season is about to be created. The first match will be on the 15th. I've had to create two fake teams to make it 10-10-10. I thought that would be more fair than having one division with an extra team (as we're at 28). They'll be fodder for the lower league so at least the new managers will enjoy some easy wins :p it's a shame to do it this way but recruitment seems impossible in xpert right now.

I think they changed it up in the 3DS version (or I'm just no good at it on a handheld) but obviously take out the eyes first and then you can chase him down fairly easily, either boosting or braking while holding whichever direction so you're flying on your side (wings pointing to the top and bottom of the screen). If he disappears just do a u-turn and you'll be facing the part of his brain you need to shoot (at least in the original). Most of the time I can get him within a minute but sometimes he's just an awkward brainy git :p

I'm not particularly a fan of GTA but this sentence has to be the most narrow-minded thing I've ever read on this forum.

I always went the hard route up until Sector Z which I'd skip in favour of Macbeth as you get more points from it and you're set up with lots of bombs to take out the train (and you usually have a fair few left for Area 6 if you max out at Zoness)... because I am a points whore.

ReZ's name was in the highlighted list but I realised it should not have been there so have now removed it (Jonnas if this influenced your vote you are permitted to change it)

Yeah I've always thought this thread was just about sharing things you've found that are funny. Usually if someone posts something original they'll mention it. Unfortunately most people just don't include the source. It's not like people have intentionally removed a source link, they just neglect to add it in. I miss the caption competition :p
