  1. I was reading some of the replies and the whole thread seems to be about "educating" ZeldaFreak out of his ignorance. The whole thread. Every bit of it. Don't waste yourselves... it's pointless.
  2. The Number 23 is the new feature film starring comedian actor Jim Carrey (The Mask/Dumb & Dumber). it's a psychlogical thriller where he plays a man obsessed with the number 23. Thing is, if you visit this website: http://www.whatdoes23mean.com/ They are giving away a game console "that begins with the 23rd letter in the alphabet". Could it be....the Wii?
  3. Activision President and CEO Mike Griffith ended all rumors... Guitar Hero is coming to the Nintendo Wii during Activision’s 2008 fiscal year (April 07 – March 08). Mike Griffith stated, “In fiscal 2008, we will double our offerings on the DS and the Wii, including Spider-Man, Shrek, Transformers, and Guitar Hero." http://news.google.com/news/url?sa=t&ct=us/3-0&fp=45cae6e481516c97&ei=zOXKRbzaIZigogKExqjVCg&url=http%3A//www.thegamefeed.com/news-da5ad3aec1f9d209c4488213bafb41ff.html&cid=1113436096
  4. I would love a Bonk! game for Wii... ONLY if the Bonk! character was replaced by Zidane.
  5. Yep. And to some here, a girl/female is not something they would consider atractive regardless of looks. It's pretty obvious by the comments they made. But like HAL_9million said, the point of the video is even more obvious.
  6. Not in my experience. And I've been using non-official cards since the N64/PSOne days. Never had a card go corrupt on me yet. I mostly use Nyko memory cards for my GameCube. They have been working fine since I first got them. But I do agree that Ninty's official memory sticks/card are more reliable and less prone to flaws.
  7. Well, it seems that From Software has cancelled at least two projects for the PS3. FROM Software has today announced that production on the PlayStation3 titles Dark RPG and Black Blade, has stopped. The news was confirmed to the Japanese publication Famitsu, though reasons for the decision have not been made.
  8. In an interview with game blog Kotaku, SNK Playmore overseas marketing manager Yoshihito Koyama has indicated that the company may wait as long as four years before supporting the PlayStation 3, due to concerns over development costs. Koyama’s comments echo those of SNK Playmore USA president Ben Herman, who indicated in May that the company will support the Wii with a version of Metal Slug Anthology that uses the motion sensing features of the Wii controller. Referring to this title Koyama, indicated that it would be a launch title for the system, but admitted: source: gamasutra
  9. I originally got a SNES back in the days mainly to play Street Fighter II. Later on Super Mario World became my favorite. Zelda III (as it was first called) came second and Chrono Trigger would be third. I originally got a SNES back in the days mainly to play Street Fighter II. 10. Yeah, I agree with that. It's one thing to squat and act like a spaz around the room with your pals, but quite another to do so with strangers.
  11. I can't read? You can't even write! Or read: Yep, is time for Ocelot to go back to school AGAIN!
  12. I'm looking foward to Metroid Prime 3 and Zelda Twilight Princess. I'll probably get those two games at launch. After I beat those games I'll move on to Red Steel and the others that become available. No need to rush things. : peace:
  13. I mentioned the title, dumb-arse. Not the first post. Sheeesh, what a mongo!
  14. There is no talk at all about another RE for the DS at the moment. Except for those rumors that were published at Cube3. Excerpt: "There was originally talk of a Resident Evil Collection on the Wii, using RE4's game engine, as well as a remake of Resident Evil 2 on the DS. However, it now appears that both of those pieces of information are false..." It seems that the only RE game in the works for a Nintendo system is for the Wii.
  15. Why didn't you simply said that in the title of this thread? Instead, you make it sound like there is a major dilemma with the Wii itself that might bring it down. The content of the games is up to the devs, you twit.
  16. Well, you gotta admit that there is a big differance between "it did poorly" and "it did good".
  17. I would love a port of Mischief Makers to the DS. That game had cool bosses.
  18. Here are RE4 sales numbers for GameCube (as of September 2005): Resident Evil 4 [GC] 1,250 units sold (BTW, another more recent source places the GC RE4 numbers at 1,412,000 sold worldwide ) Presently, Capcom has placed the GC version of RE4 on it's platinum titles list (those that sold at least a million units). According to a recent news story, Capcom has shipped 3 million copies of RE4. BTW, every exclusive GC RE game sold at least a million units. RE-make [GC] 1,240 units sold (sept. 2005 numbers) Resident Evil 0 [GC] 1,190 units sold (sept. 2005 numbers) So far the best selling RE game on the Playstation 2 was Resident Evil Code Veronica X (with 1,320 units sold). I dunnot know how many units the PS2 version of RE4 has sold. But I believe it has also sold at least more than a million already. Considering that no RE title has sold more than 2 million units since 1999 (Resident Evil 3 Nemesis for PSOne), the current numbers only show that the series has sold reasonably well on GC and PS2. Considering the series is not as big as it once was.
  19. I believe it to be so. People think that graphics alone should the the driving force motivating each new generation of game consoles. In a recent interview, Nintendo's George Harrison (not to be confused with Sony's Phil "PS3 is a PC" Harrison), said that graphics aren't all that. To make his point he mentioned The Simpsons as an example of entertainment that is good not because of the high quality of the animation, but because of it's great capacity to entertain us. And the Wii is going for that same type formula. Provide good interactive entertainment as the top priority.
  20. Let's see, Sony's Phil Harrison said something similar. "We don't need PC's"... So, does that mean the good people at Sony Computer Entertainment (SCEI) will have to use PS3's to do their work from now on? How about the people at SCEA? Will they ditch their PC's (Sony Vaio's)in favour of a PS3? Sony has promised the Blu Ray Association millions of "guinea pigs" by way of Sony fanatics who will gladly sell grandma in order to pay $800.00 for a PS3 (that is with games plus accessories). C'mon Sony, stop trying to sell your godhead "computer" as the machine that does it all. Is suppose to play games. Period. Fact is, Sony is just ashamed to admit to selling a game console for $600.00
  21. We were all swimming in semen at one time. Just wanted to point that out. It's how we got here! : peace:
  22. Basically, Matt is doing the same thing the great "Eric Mattei" used to do at Nintendojo.com Eric would publish articles flaming Nintendo and he did it because he knew very well the response he would get. Matt is just doing the same thing. It's all about getting people to visit your website and keep the controversy flame alive. Most website writers should do the same! Get's more people to sign in and become members! And non-gamers will go for the Wii based on the price alone, even if it ends up being $250. End of story.(oh, and we were all non-gamers at one time, so shush with the "non-gamers don't play videogames", crap. There is always a first time).
  23. There is actually a wii60.com website? Heh!
  24. Yep. And for one, those angry Sony gushers should stop calling people immature or kiddy if they're themselves making any Wii pissing jokes. That's like a skunk calling a diaper "stink-o". Let's face it, Sony recently have made a complete arse of themselves. Not only with their PR stuff but with the whole PS3 deal. It's all funny as hell. And Sony fanatics should take that pole out of their arse and just go along with the fun. Just like we had to do with the whole Wii debacle. And it's not like Phil Harrison didn't say something incredibly stupid. : peace:
  25. Naruto has been released for GC (two games at least). Then there is the GC version of Jump Super Stars featuring Goku, One Piece characters and Naruto, among others. It's called Battle Stadium D.O.N.
