But in Metal Gear Solid 2's case the story, well the ending, ruined what was a good stealth/action game which improved quite well on the original. (Except for the sword fighting bit.) Stocka is right that stories make RPGs but since gameplay is also such an important factor it can break RPGs aswell. For example i got to the third disc of Final Fantasy 8 but in the end i just gave up on it because i thought the Junction system in the game was complete bullshit. Final Fantasy 7's Materia system completely eclipses 8's system and 8's plot wasn't that great either. So i think we can all agree that stories can play a a big factor in videogames but if the gameplay is top notch then the story doesn't really matter. I don't think anyone is going to say that the story in Super Mario 64 made the game what it is.

FOR GOD SAKES IT IS JUST A VIDEOGAME!!! There, finally got that out of my system. Zeldafan you are looking into things way too much, Zelda is a video game and video games are essentially about gameplay, books are about stories. The Legend of Zelda isn't epic for it's story telling, it's epic for it's breath-taking visual effects and scenery, outstanding characters and enemies and finally it is epic for being a great, solid adventure. I'm not saying you need to get a life or anything but really you keep freaking out over all these small details in the series which i bet the developers don't even care about. But every post you make you're either complaining or just making a fuss about how you don't understand. The people on these forums aren't here to feed you more knowledge about the game, they're here to discuss ideas and aspects of a great gaming series so if you need to know something go on Wikipedia or a Zelda fan-site because your posts are really becoming spam. So essentially what i am trying to say is think before you post and stop posting every thought that comes to mind. *I apologise in advance if this offends you i'm just trying to express how i feel*

Whatever happend to that Kirby game for the Gamecube, it didn't look to shabby. Maybe though because Kirby games are developed by Hal Labs, the game was put on hold for the Revolution so they could work on the new Super Smash Bros.

Off Topic: I just saw Skies of Arcadia Legends in Gamestation today for £30 pounds. The box isn't in that bad condition and it is second hand but i was wondering if it was worth getting in these circimstances cosidering it's meant to be a lost gem.

Sorry about that post, i didn't mean for anyone to take it too seriously, we're all entitled to our own opinions, i hate Final Fantasy 8 but everyone else seems to love it so what one person says doesn't really matter too much. I'm actually playing the game again right now and the look of the game itself is what makes me beg for a remake just in-case one day i might find the game un-playable because of the way it looks and that would be a real shame because it's a timeless classic like Ocarina of Time.

Wait i'm lost. Is the power supply (the big box that is on the gamecube power wire) on the inside or the outside of the revolution because that plug-in wire that you have in that picture Nintendork doesn't have a power supply on it. Considering the Revolution is a very small console similar to the Gamecube which saved space by having the power supply on the outside of the console wouldn't it make sense for the revolution to have the power supply on the outside aswell? THIS IS MORE CONFUSING THAN THE ENDING OF METAL GEAR SOLID 2!!!!

In the next few weeks i'll be getting a brand new PC and i need to know what essential PC games are there out there. I'm not too keen on MMORPGs and which FPSs have free online play? At the moment i'm planning on getting: Half-Life 2 Battlefield 2 Call of Duty 2 Black and White 2 Any suggestions?

Why is there so little information about Capcom making games for the Revolution? It's seems like just yesterday Capcom and Nintendo were best buddies.

The ending to Metal Gear Solid 2 hurt my head, is 3 as confusing? EDIT: The Transformers game is also a great action game and has some of the best graphics on the PS2.

Now i'm deppressed. Alhtough anyone desperate for a good adventure game i highly reccommend Shadow of the Colossus on the PS2. It's an amazing game and it will help time go by easier.
