  1. Rogue one is most definitely not the best Star Wars Film. In fact I reckon the prequels are better 🤣

as for Last Jedi. I’m disappointed in all honesty. I expected greatness. I need to watch it again though, it’s a bit mental so need to soak it all in.

    Spoiler

A lot of the comedy didn’t work for me and made me cringe more the anything, and although the film wasn’t surprising, they weren’t necessarily good surprises  smoke getting killed, cool moment, but loses the biggest threat and he never really did anything. There’s not one proper light sabre fight in it. Luke going the way he did was unfulfilling  Luke not having a bad ass Jedi moment... well he did, and it was amazing, but it was sort of ruined by the fact it wasnt him, which again was cool, but disappointing next to seeing Luke take on loads of the new atats and stuff as an all powerful Jedi master which is what I expected  and wanted  .

reyd parent revelation  which they built up  the final ending scene. The awful awful CG horse things

i don’t know  I was disappointed. And the more I think about it the worse it gets... need to watch it and hope all the surprising decisions are actually really great

also  ultimately. Nothing happens - we don’t see Rey train, snoke and don’t really do anything except chase a ship, no amazing Jedi skills, Finn does a mission which results in nothing, the resistance again don’t do much. It all just felt very inconsequential, with no amazing Star Wars moments, and very very silly, far too often tipping into stupid

argh!!! Please let a second viewing let me “get it”

  2. 8 euros a table? Didn’t even see that. I think Zen is a better in every regard to be honest; the social and friends stuff is really fantastic, the fact you can create your own custom tournaments and such. Stern is so bare bones, youcan’t even compare scores with friends...

Gotta remember that the PS4 launched in Japan 3 months after the other releases. Not that it would make much difference anyway, seeing as home consoles struggle over there. Nintendo essentially has market dominance in Japan due to the Switch also being a handheld.

I think as well we have seen Zelda, 3D Mario, Mario Kart and Splatoon in these few months as a big factor. Great sales now but I wonder how Nintendo will keep momentum going at the same level over say 7 years.

I’m hoping all their other franchises personally. But they may not equal sales. But maybe with a massive increase in third parties it might be...

Realistically though I animal crossing, smash bros, Pokemon and metroid over the next two years. Then probably Mario kart 9. Maybe even sequels to Zelda and odyssey using the same engines...

  4. Yeah. Got both. Love zen pinball, bought universal and alien packs already. Hoping when Nintendo sorry their account we can download all our purchases from wii u version.

Never played stern but looking forward to trying it out.

  5. I bought and never played them on the wii u, so there’s no way I’m buying them and not playing them again on the switch.

*jump cut to feb and I excitedly take them out and put them on my switch shelf next to the still sealed copy of doom and la noire*

  6. I think breath of the wild and Mario odyssey are two of the greatest games ever made. Both out this year.  Why lucky. Very difficult to pick. Personally, subjectively, I think I enjoy Mario more, pure and utter joy like very few things give me. However, Zelda was so mind blowing, so impressive, had so many wow moments, is so incredibly designed that it probably deserves all the accolades it will inevitably get.

Its also harder for Zelda to be that impressive, there are loads of action adventure games constantly developing the genre, plus Zelda needs to create its world rules and be confined by them. So to do what it did is quite unbelievable.

No oke is really making platform games anymore. So it’s easier to bring loads of new ideas and feel fresh, plus Nintendo can do pretty much anything in Mario and it’ll work so again, in some ways easier to just be mental, unreasoned fun.

Ultimately, two masterpieces, hindsight will probably say they are my two favourite games of all time. So......

    Mario.

I think doubling up on big games in August-October is unlikely, and probably not the smartest thing to do anyway, but otherwise I can see the rest of the schedule happening. First party + Re-releases + the occasional third party like Octopath Traveller + Indies.

If Nintendo are ordering 25-30 million Switches for next FY they must be confident...

I did tho k it was a bit much, but i really want those games, and if it’s as successful as Nintendo hope they’ll need the software. Imagine this, massive virtual console, loads ofnindies every week still and a massively increased third party support

  8. I don’t think it is a huge task personally. Presuming some smaller titles creep their way in. I think the one a month pretty much is perfect; though time itn’s little better then the Arms Splatoon releases which killed Arms a little.

Theres a difference of what I think and want too; I want new f zero/wave race/excite bike, advance wars, their sports titles etc. Might get a couple.

    Something like this is possible

February - Donkey Kong Countey Returns Double Pack

    March - Kirby

    April - Bayonetta 1 + 2, w101 pack

May - online service. Super smash Bros.

    June - Yoshi

    July - Pikmin 4

August - Animal Crossing + Mario Strikers

    September - Fire Emblem + bayonetta 3

october - Pokemon + Wave Race

November - Retros Action adventure game

Does look good. Have you read NintendoLife’s review. They say it’s more arcade based than sim, good, but held back by its mobile roots. Think I’ll get Mantis Burn Racing instead.

I'm not going to buy Worms now, but I'll probably buy the physical version in a sale (maybe even the digital version). I hope you're not in a hurry!

Worms is timeless. I’ll be up for a game whenever!!
