Looks like promotion has begun for this game. Great slogan and a nice little dig at the usual grey shooters and the like on other platforms.

Seems Amazon have also started limiting sales to 1 amiibo per customer. Even if you place separate orders. Looks like Nintendo are cracking down on the scalpers.

Sounds like there'll be plenty of character customisation already in the game, so I would love dedicated Splatoon amiibo. The design of the Inklings is great (both forms). Otherwise, maybe the regular Nintendo amiibo could unlock character themed arenas. That would also be great, if a little far fetched.

Hang on, are you saying there are other aspects to this game apart from potential voice chat! Look through the last half dozen pages, I've tried to start up discussion on the actual game, but the conversation always gets dragged back to f-ing voice chat. I already offered my opinion on possible amiibo implementation in this game, it barely got any discussion.

Yeah clothing depending on the amiibo you scan in seems pretty likely. Probably too much to ask but weapons based on amiibo's would be fun too, so if you scan in a Mario one you can use a FLUDD type thing, bombs from Link, rainbow paint from Kirby etc

Yeah the amiibo shortage is annoying but forgivable I think, at least at this early stage. They obviously take a long time to manufacture and they underestimated demand. Like it or not I also think the shortage has built a lot of hype and word of mouth, just as the Wii shortage did. I wouldn't have ordered half of what I have if they were easily sourced. Would the Wii have sold as well if there hadnt been Sold Out signs everywhere? The UK store's ineptitude is pretty shocking though. That's a separate issue.

I was informed they only cancelled one Toad amiibo (I'd ordered two), but it turns out they've cancelled both for me as well. Idiots. But not worth losing interest in amiibo generally just because of the Nintendo UK store.

Come on guys, Wii doesn't care about other consoles, therefore the message board (and indeed, the gaming industry in general) should align itself to suit his wishes, and his alone.

I lasted about 5 seconds listening to that guy speaking before having to stop.

Don't see what the problem with the warping mechanic in OOT, they take you to outside the dungeon entrance. The overworld is so small warping isn't exactly a necessity anyway. I don't like when games dumb themselves down so much to allow instantaneous travel to anywhere you want. Are you sure you don't just like challenging games Grazza? Also the reward for collecting 100 skulltullas is basically infinite money. The guy fills your wallet every time you go in.
