the 2 cpus are both ibm powerpcs arnt they?so their architechture will be roughly the same.hopefully the other cores will just be used for running the operating system(s) and firewalls and other such programs.i know tis is unlikely as the processing power would be extreame overkill.

i would have to say for sheer preformance i would deffinatly go with a pentium m processor in a laptop.

I dont know much about good value for laptops but that laptop will preform ok but if it is possible to get a modle without the ddr2 memory then i would cause you only really benifit from ddr2 with graphics which you said you are not too pushed about.

But alos dont forget that nintendo are making some kind of usb stick that make it easy for you to hook your ds up to the internet although i suspect other people will be able to use this aswell.

Didnt some nintendo person say that they were going to go to town with the patenting so as nobody could copy their controller?

Gddr3 is the ram that is onboard the chip,Gddr3 is the fastest avilble at the moment i think(well before the gforce 7s came along,i dont knowwhat they use) if you are planning on doing video or image editing(i cant remeber which one ) then go for the powercolor card.if you are just using games id say go for the connect 3d card.

Its just such an easy target thats why they do it ,like the whole bullying thing.

I really do hope that they are not using infra red for the wireless function of the controller.

I dont know if this has been mentioned yet as i havent had the chance to look over the posts.but does it look like there is an infra red output thingy on the back of the controller?have nintendo taken a step back?
