That's bullshit and you know it. Star Fox Guard is ridiculously fun. Star Fox is a good game and doesn't have "poor design choices". Good Christ. Mostly because Miyamoto's position has changed to supervisory rather than making the stuff himself. He is in charge of essentially all projects at Nintendo. If a game has been made by Nintendo since the late 90s, he has had a heavy hand in it.

I don't think anything major happened to it. Think it's just NX needing software that caused it. I know I'll be getting the NX version. I wouldn't be surprised if the game was done now, just them working on the NX version

You say that, but in a thread on GAF, many people were saying what they'd like for Star Fox to evolve, and they were pretty much describing a longer Star Fox Assault

Star Fox has evolved from entry to entry though. That's what made people want it back to its roots. They also shouldn't have to shoehorn in an online if the game is considered "short" (i.e. it isn't an open world RPG). Granted, Star Fox SHOULD have one, but they shouldn't have to have one just because the campaign is shorter.

It does look like they are. Hell, look at how they're handling Animal Crossing with the mobile/NX integration. It's going to be great. Look at every company that has released hardware then went to release software instead: Atari, Jaguar, Sega. You tell me it works.

In Japan, the dominant NX platform advertised would likely be portable. In the US it'd likely be console. In Europe it'd likely be both.

No. You scan an amiibo each time you wish to use that specific amiibo. To get the specific character levels, you have to complete one of the standard levels and get to the secret exit with that character

I just think the plans changed in the last two months for the NX and that just ruined their E3 plans. I don't think Nintendo intended from the outset for E3 to be lackluster

Let's not conflate things. They're showing more games at E3. We know Pokémon Sun & Moon will have some presence, for example. Zelda is just the only playable one.
