  1. Nowt wrong with people like us being skinny Ashley, in this world of obesity, its good for people to maintain their appearance and show it off :P

I know I do...been on both ends of the spectrum, and although this end is a lot more work (although I could probably stop and not worry bout it for quite a while), I really do prefer being skinny.

    Long live skinny people! :P

  2. I only really noticed that until after, its actually quite cool, on the technical side.

Because chicks these days go for the effeminate, skinny-jean wearing type. I'm just too masculine to compete, lol. (No offence to the effeminate, skinny-jean wearing men).

    We're not effeminate :p

  3. There are so many permutations to doing each challenge, I guess if you only go for the basics they may seem the same, but if you go about having fun, its awesome...like a Polo one I just did...was struggling with the angles so turned my boat into a massive plow and won

  4. Some challenges do require me to think unconventionally

Like the one where the statue was under attack...tried oit a few times normally and was struggling, so I made a big ass plane, flew quickly to the statue, hijacked it, flew up high and waited it out :p

  5. I kept getting the jiggies from all the acts I could in nutty acres, then logbox opened up, did jiggies in that until banjo land opened up, then did some jiggies in that. Got quite a few more jiggies and still haven't reached the second grunty fight, so still pretty much float-less.

The Grunty fight is in door 3 or 4 of Logbox. You're skipping things. No wonder you're having bad experiences...you're missing all the upgrades that make life easier

  6. I'm having a bit of a problem if anyone can help me out here.

i've got 3 jiggies in banjoland's jig-o-vend but i can't figure out how to get my trolly to the vender without it sinking in the water and i can't find a way round to it.

What i'm doing is i'm leaving the trolly at trophy thomas' hut and swimming across to the jig-o-vend and bringing the jiggies across the water individually but its getting a bit tedious.

So is there a way to get the trolly around to the banjoland jig-o-vend?

When you get further into the game, should be before you get to Banjo Land tbh, think it was after the second gruntilda confrontation, you get an upgrade to your trolley that lets it float

  7. It seems like a Marmite game.

I didn't really enjoy it (too much customisation getting in the way of gameplay, and it feels like you need to unfairly unbalance the game to get each jiggy) and know others who feel similar. Pity 'cos i've been a big fan the previous BK games.

But then i know people who absolutely love it. These are the people who appreciate the customisation part, enjoy building & trying out different vehicles, and aren't too bothered about "just get on with the gameplay" like me.

So the pattern seems to be:

    - If you enjoy customisation, spending a lot of time building new vehicles with new parts and trying them out, you'll love it.

    - If you're not bothered with messing about in the vehicle editor and would prefer more of a focus on balanced gameplay, you won't.

I prefer a focus on balanced gameplay and I love this so your theory is flawed :p

  8. I thought that vehicle was too good for the challenge.

Edit: Also, is it just me or do the challenges feel a lot more varied than what the reviews suggested? Sure, there's not a massive amount of different types of challenges (then again, you can say that about virtually every game), but each challenge feels suitably different.

Anyway. This was the main game that swayed me over to the 360, even before the vehicles and stuff was announced. And so far I'm very pleased with the game.

I agree. While they do have some similarity, its very different...just like Mario Galaxy, Banjo Kazooie etc

The way I see it is Microsoft/Rare decided not to pay people off for the reviews and so they're not being given good ones
