Actually no. I, like the developers, see how Pokéon truely is. It's something you take around with you on the go, to trade and battle with your friends. A home console version just guts that Also, the developers have said that they really like and will keep the top-down view for the main games

Yeah its safe to assume that, but like Platinum did to DP, it will likely be for only JohtoDex Pokémon. I get all technically, but I only got Pearl, didnt get Diamond...and I'll only get one of these

The developers have clearly stated that the main games will remain handheld. The "new" game in Famitsu is going to be Melee! Pokémon Scramble!. Famitsu haven't mentioned it despite the fact it is out next week in Japan

The one problem with the Playstation one appears to be that for it to work, you can tell by how it maps it in the video, the controller has to be in view of the Playstation Eye which limits it significantly. When playing on my Wii, I'm usually off to the side of my tv and have to move if I'm playing a game that requires use of the IR. This will definitely be detrimental in the long run
