  1. New Info:

    - Production team acquired new cameras for the series in order to specifically give it a new look - a look compared to the likes of Harry Potter, Twilight, Tim Burton etc.

    - first episode is 65 mins long.

    - Current series films until the end of March

    - Next series starts filming in June, I would expect they do the Christmas special then.

    - episodes 12 and 13 are very FX heavy.

From what I read, they said it was like a little pinch of those franchises, not like a lot of it

  2. NOE are sending their review copies if this out early - HeartGold arrived in the post today, completely unexpected! Won't be able to play until this evening, though! Now to spend the afternoon deciding on my starter...

Don't forget to send over your Pikachu Coloured Pichu from DPt before you get to Ilex so you can get the kickass Pichu :D

  3. I feel slight twinges of hype towards these remakes now and again, but I'm gonna resist them. I just need to keep reminding myself that I played Gold to death back in the day... and Snubbulls are, imo, probably amongst the worst Pokémon ever created. :nono:

    Aye, ok.

Get it. You know you want to!

  4. I've seen people pretend elsewhere

Anyway, these games are based on the games of Gold & Silver that were released back in 2000. They feature many of the original 150 Pokémon as well as the Johto 100 Pokémon before you beat the game.

It has two regions, Johto and the original region Kanto and features the continuation of the Team Rocket storyline in addition to the new trainer bits

It's well worth it, I'd happily say it's the definitive Pokémon version

  5. Oh yeah, the details that the retaillers have about the episodes on the Series 5 Volume 1 DVD/BluRay indicate that the first episode of the new season is an hour long while the rest are the usual 45 minutes

  6. I don't really see the point in doing New Game Plus on ME2 anyway as you reach the level cap on the first playthrough. Unless you want to keep the face you created for your character I can't see a reason to unlike ME1.

I did every mission on ME2 but havent reached Level 30 yet. Am at Level 28

  7. The game doesn't particularly need it. It should simply be expected to have orchestral music because of the obvious success the first one had with it.

And regarding midi music. It's not a problem with midi itself. It's simply that lately music that Nintendo has done using midi on a console game has been pretty poor.

The only game I agree with you there on is Wii Music

  8. I really don't get why everyone is so excited about this game! Its just the same but with yoshi, big deal. And how many times can you fight the same bosses. I hope this isn't the start of identical sequels for nintendo.

Really? I must have missed the big dual dragon boss and the boss you have to whip Bullet Bills at in Mario Galaxy

  9. Why is it so important to so many people that the music is orchestrated?

Surely if the music sounds good and behaves properly within the game it doesn't matter where the final sounds have originated from.

I agree. Many games people moaned about MIDI music such as Mario Kart Wii, I didn't notice til they moaned

That said, Mario Galaxy's soundtrack is awesome and deserves orchestration
