It gets ultra awkward when they introduce me to a hot girl like that. I'm convinced that's why I'm single at the moment. I'm not a bad looking guy and I'm very loveable but yet cold and alone. Anyway, I've derailed the thread somewhat.

Oh, here's a multitude of awkward moments Whenever my friends introduce me, they introduce me as "This is Joe, he owns the biggest Pokémon site IN THE WORLD". Half the time, it kills conversation and makes everything awkward. The rest, they're call with it, ask me about it etc. It always tends to end with them throwing numbers at me and me giving them the Pokémon and them checking the site, which leads to more awkward moments when people remember how geeky I am.

I don't read the Daily Mail. I am purely impartial and am completely against how the media misleads everyone. That is why I didn't get onto my Multimedia Journalism Masters degree. I stated in an interview (they asked my opinion) about how I felt about the current media situation. The media have a mandate to inform, not to trick and mislead. It should always be absolutely impartial

No. The EU allows for people to easily go to the other countries TO WORK. Not to mooch. If it were the case that every country in the EU did that, then it wouldn't be an issue now would it? England is the only country to give benefits so freely to the immigrants it lets in.

So, asking about their ridiculously realised immigration policy which allows people from Europe to come over here and just sponge off of our benefits, without even bothering to get a job, is classed as bigotry now? Well, now I know.

I keep getting cheated out of XP in multiplayer. My friend and I go in to some hideouts, we waste everyone there, then as we kill the last guy, a load screen comes up. My friend gets XP and I'm suddenly 5 minutes away

I hate how if you speak out against someone and they're of a different ethnicity to you, chances are you'll get labelled racist, anti semite etc. depending on the situation. Our culture has devolved to a point where nobody can speak their mind. The whole Gordon Brown "bigot" incident is a major example of this. The woman wasn't being a bigot at all and was asking a legitimate policy question. Nowadays, due to the media incited hatred against people like the BNP, nobody will risk doing anything that could be classed as racist. For me, if someone is being a complete douche, I'll tell them that. Doesn't matter if they're White, Black, Jewish, Muslim or American.

I've had experience with it and it is essentially an oversized iPod Touch with extra features. As it doesn't have any extra control input, then I can safely determine that the style and control of games on the iPad will be similar to the iPod Touch and have the exact same issues so my complaint is valid.

Well it wasn't there when I first loaded the thread, but having read it now, yes it's a luxury item, but luxury items would still need a purpose. I can see using it in the first week but then boom, it gets wardrobed

I had a go on one the other day (my mate works at the local apple reseller so let me have a go for about half an hour) and I came away with one impression; "Meh" It just seems to be an entirely pointless piece of kit. It does nothing no other bit of hardware does better. It's extremely limited by apple and the apps...oh lord, 99% of the apps on it are dross. Games are impossible to have complete control, there was a racing one my mate used as a "prime example" of games on the iPad. Sure, it looked great, but the amount of control on it was minimal. You turn by rotating the iPad (bit ridiculous with something this big as is) and break by touching the screen which isn't that easy to do, with no control over the accelerator or anything. It's just a completely pointless piece of kit and even people like me, someone with more money than sense, would be hard pressed to find a justification for a purchase :-/

This isn't in any way sexual like all of yours but it was awkward I went out with my then best friend and his girlfriend (third wheel and all). He decided to take this opportunity to break up with her but with the still be friends thing. We all then went and played pool. She was majorly upset and yet the three of us were playing pool. Mega awkward

Best not come to that conclusion yet. For all we know, that game code is for any enhanced game. It may not be DSi Enhanced at all, it may be a sign it is 3DS enhanced We just don't know as there's no frame of reference

If so, try to sly me some details Going slightly under the radar, the Daisuki Club site has confirmed that the two new Pokémon; Reshiram & Zekrom, revealed yesterday, are part Dragon-type. It is unknown if they are pure Dragon or if they have a secondary type. In addition to this, the Daisuki Club also confirmed that the two game versions are going to have further differences outside of the exclusive Pokémon we have come to expect. To what extent, we don't yet know.
