  1. It's also worth noting that this game is being sold for less than the standard MRSP and is substantial, so it really is extra.
  2. Just be glad it is additional. From what I've been told by friends with the review copy, the game is still very substantial without it.
  3. Yeah, on reading this properly, and on reflection, it is done right. I could have done without the day 1 DLC, but the way they're doing it is good. They have done packages at smaller prices before, with New Super Mario Bros. 2, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and so forth. This is just the first time they've told us what's coming ahead. The trial of them is good, though, and this is clearly substantial. 108 holes for $15...bargain. That said, I'm amused at how people are reacting like Nintendo has sinned. They have improved what has become a standard practice.
  4. Other Nintendo published games have had Day 1 DLC. Fire Emblem and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, for example. This isn't anything new.
  5. Sigh. This is what happens when people say Nintendo has to get with the times with online. I'm a sad panda now. I wouldn't think so. Nintendo haven't lost all sense.
  6. Been revealed in Famitsu this week http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=805941
  7. Especially as they have said numerous times it'll be there.
  8. Still, it's a Nintendo property being handled by a third party :p
  9. Pic of the day. Here's a special stage exclusive to the 3DS version, Balloon Fight!! The stage loops on the left and right sides so you can walk off one side and appear on the other.
  10. If M2 does it like they did the GBA, then I wouldn't be surprised at it being an option
  11. Perfect example of Nintendo's building of relationships with third parties too. Let's hope it's localised
  12. As I said, they were going to show it twice last year, so it's not as if it's very early in
  13. Don't forget that Zelda Wii U was going to be shown last year, but they decided not to due to them feeling that they had enough content. Then it was going to be shown at Comic-Con, but they changed their minds and decided to go big at E3 this year.
  14. Never too late
  15. There's a reason F-Zero, Advance Wars and Metroid lead the charge of the GBA Virtual Console, so I'm thinking each of those series is getting a new instalment announced at E3 Then there's Zelda U, the NFC game and Smash Bros. dates, and probably a few surprises. Oh, and The Adventures of Captain Toad on the eShop right after the presentation :p
  16. It's also Super Mario Land's 25th birthday. Give that badboy some love
  17. Nintendo don't push out that bundle anymore anyway, so it could just be clearance. Get rid of it in preparation for the Mario Kart bundle!
  18. All should watch this trailer.
  19. The thing is, people keep implying it's one or the other, when it's not.
  20. Crazy. I remember getting mine on my 6th birthday 22 years ago. Got Super Mario Land, Tetris and Mario & Yoshi on it. I was so excited. To think, that little handheld has completely changed my life. Without it, I would be a completely different person.
  21. Exactly. Not every game has to be a big huge gamechanger. This is what has happened to the industry. Everything has shifted to expect these massive changes constantly and less focus is allowed on a game just being fun for the sake of fun Plus, NES Remix 1 & 2 are developed by indiezero, not Nintendo (though it is supervised by EAD), so it takes no resources.
  22. Pic of the day. For the first time in the Smash series, Beam Swords will feature graduated colors. The attack item on the left is the Fire Bar. This is a peculiar weapon that becomes shorter after each swing.
  23. We have an actually good equivalent on the 3DS...
  24. Well we've had a load of info and trailers revealed this month for things that would have been in a Direct.
