I went on holiday to Cyprus 11 days ago, got back yesterday looking forward to the news that had developed since then from the Leipzig etc. But I was hoping for a date and price to be released. But it hasnt yet. Have I got the date wrong? I thought the Leipzig was more than just showcasing a couple of games. Plus what is the thing on the front page - Revo-Europe - Stay tuned - its days away. Also If anyone can give me a news round-up for the past 2 weeks or so I'd be most greatful. Once i have the answers you can lock the thread if you wish.

OK my statement: Will there be an interesting assortment of different wii-mote add ons, and will they be used enough to buy them seperately? I dont want to buy an add on just for one game and then never use it again. Things like the nun-chuk are bound to be used often, but some other add ons arent.

I think what ruined the trophies thing was that you could just purchase them with the coins you earned.

I was really annoyed in smash bros melee that they had two marios and pikachu/pichu. Why couldnt they have other mario/metroid/zelda characters in it? Boo ftw

Very true^ It's just there's so many games Id like, it would be nice to kick off with a metroid game and to be frank, they'be definetly been developing for a considerable amount of time now.

Good song, they've also got 'Brighter than a thousand suns' on there now too, gonna listen to it after 'different world' - sounds a lot like their songs rain maker/wicker man EDIT: Glad to report 'Brighter than a thousand suns' is the best song so far amazing solo and riffs around the 3:45 mark, a bit under half-way through. Its fantastic! Im relieved now that they've got the Maiden sound back again because after hearing TROBB i was a bit unconviced, these two songs have changed my mind. Summing up: BTATS: clocks in at 8 minutes 44 seconds, a true epic that held my attention throughout, great solos in the middle section. Unlike the Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner, which i fall asleep to, to be frank.

I dont understand my space, people have a profile to explain about their personality and stuff, but yet its only their friends that visit it and already know everything about them.

I found a lot of mixed views of this game on the disappointing games thread and I'd just like to see people's full opinions on the game. I myself, think it was utter rubbish. The levels were boring and few, there was not much sense of speed and it was basically just a repeat of the 64 version but with better graphics. What is so special about the graphics and water effects? They may seem amazing when you first buy a Gamecube and compare it to a 64 but now with more titles available the best way to describe them is 'good'. There isnt enough variety in the controls and I ended up just repeating myself going in the same areas each lap. IMO If you are in outrage put me wrong, If you agree back be up.

I thought I was alone on this but it appears not - Wave Race Blue Storm. I dont understand what all the fuss was about, its usually in top 20 gamecube game lists. Why? I think the 64 version was good for its time though, still have it. HAHA!!! I got it for £7 too and it's complete crap! Such a waste of time

If you read that I was going to Cyprus - well the plane was cancelled cause of this, waited at the airport for 7 hours today and then nothing. We're going on tuesday now. The reason: new 'no hand luggage' rule, lack of staff and departure place wasnt operating. Awful.

I reckon they've already got plans for the system after Wii and even more incredible innovations up their sleeve.

yeah we had some friends who were going to give us their cat called Sparticus, or more affectionatly named Sparty/Spart. but then they decided not to, for some reason, after giving us loads of cute pictures of him. i really want a pet now cause sparty looked cool and fun to be around. he climbs ladders and the talllest trees you can come across. awww

I like the fact of more hunters and stuff in prime 3. Having different races either blocking you or helping you sounds cool! okay yeah super missiles were powerful but they hardly got used, by me anyway.normal missiles at the moment seem to have little effect on enemies, it just seems to make them groan a little. the charge beam combos should play a bigger part in the game cause at the moment they arent completely necessary and take up too much ammunition

pet shop?!

they said that they might include multiplayer as an extra download - wii 24/7 but online? prime 2 multiplayer was crap - 4 weapons and lock on?! corruption will be the same apart from there's only gonna be one weapon that gets more powerful after time. whats the point in having multiplayer, let alone online?! plus i will say again: does anybody think missiles should feel more powerful when shot?
