I was tempted by this, but as -30% is £27.99 and you can get brand new sealed disc from Amazon for £20. If they'd have had 40% off then it probably would of been an instant download for me.

For those interested LoveFilm is now available on Wii. Download via Channels section of Wii shop.

Turn Any Wii Game Into A Fitness Work Out?!

It's almost exactly the same a Jog that's already been out for ages. The only difference is that rather than connecting between Wiimote and nunchuck, it is a nunchuck with everything built in. -
I've completed the megadrive version which is the best version available and I still play it every now and then. I would go as far to say that it's the best Robocop game that's ever been released on a console. The Snes version is shockingly bad.

I reckon you should be fine. Go for it, it's a very good game with some brilliant voice acting from the original cast and all those sounds you loved from the movie make things that much more enjoyable.

After 10 months from purchase I've had a bit of a result with this game and the fatal error message. I was not having much luck with the Atari support site, then a couple of months ago I received an email from Atari US which asked me to send my copy to them for a replacement. I thought it was a bit risky sending it all the way over the pond so just gave up. However yesterday while walking down the road I did a google search on my mobile for Atari uk to see if there was a phone number. I found a number so I thought I'd give it a try to see what happens. It went through to Namco Bandi which i was passed through to a guy that was very helpful and said that there were some dodgy Wii discs on release, but unfortunately the game is rather rare these days so he took my name, address and tel number. I've come home from work today to find waiting for me in a brown packet a brand new sealed copy of Ghostbusters with an accompanying note saying Happy Ghostbusting kind Regards Namco Bandi. I've checked it out and it works fine with no fatal error message. I'm rather impressed that 10 months after purchase they have sent me a new copy for nothing and not even want the old one back as proof that I've actually got the game in the first place.

I loved this game and is deffinately still one of my faves. I got it on release and played a long way into it and got stuck on one of the bosses near the end and gave up for a while.(years) About 3 months ago I actually finished the game. I got Headhunter 2 on Xbox, but just couldnt get into it. All I need to do now is try and complete my first ever Dreamcast game Blue Stinger which I started and got stuck near the end so gave up.

I got Ghostbusters for xmas. Really enjoying it apart from 1 thing which is a Fatal Error/unofficial build message appearing when loading a level and the whole thing freezes so you have to turn off the Wii at the consoles power button to restart it. It seems to be a known issue. Ive sent Atari a support message so will see if I get a reply.

Im on 4.2 and ive just installed for the first time the Homebrew Channel using Bannerbomb. I wasnt sure if I should install Bootmii or not so should I? Will I have problems if I dont?
-
I got Madworld today as I saw it in Comet for £4.99. I wasnt sure if its my sort of game or not, but for £4.99 I will give it a go.

What delay? Ive never noticed any.

Yep, Standing and using nunchuck is definately the way to go. I had a thought earlier about making the experiance even more authentic. How about plugging in Wii Jog and having to actually move around to hit your shots. I dont have Wii Jog, but would love to know if anyone has tried it.

Ive just played my 1st match in a week as ive been working away and ive had that Motion+ WOW! moment that most of us wanted from the start. I was Andy Murray vs Federa and it was a fantastic game with some bloody goods shots taking place. Federa was in the lead by 2 games to 0, then I came back and eventually we ended up on Tie Break which Federa beat me 6-4. I so love this game.

I would usually say its you and your just not doing it right, but as you mention about your luck can't be that bad it reminds me of my mate that had a problem with his Guitar Hero World Tour guitar so filled in the Warranty claim and now he has 3 guitars that do not work properly. So maybe thats just it, your very unlucky.

I made my descission on getting it after reading reviews on Amazon and Grand Slam seems to come out on top although they both have their good and bad points. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001U2BMH2/ref=s9_sdps_gw_s0_p63_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=0QVG541TVHST2RSZ392B&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938131&pf_rd_i=507846 http://www.amazon.com/Virtua-Tennis-2009-Nintendo-Wii/dp/B001SET1KW/ref=pd_sim_vg_5 My online name is Gonzo6275

I got Grand Slam for £39.71 in ASDA this morning. Cant wait to play it later, but off to work for me now:cry:.
-
You see this is my dilema. I am very tempted to get this just for the 1st motion+ experience, but Dreamcast is my first love so naturaly Virtua Tennis 2 is one of my most favourite games ever. So now I just need to make my mind up to try a different tennis game other than Virtua Tennis.
-
Im still undecided whether or not to get Grand Slam or wait for Virtua Tennis reviews or even just wait for Wii Sports Resort. I went into ASDA earlier this evening and asked if they were stocking Grand Slam with Motion+ tomorrow. They went out the back and scanned one of the boxes which contains both and the price came up as £39.71. I was told they were not sure if it would change by tomorrow or not so off to ASDA in the morning to find out. For those that have already got it, is it worth getting or should I hang on for Sports Resort or Virtua Tennis instead?

This has been one of my arguements with others that slated the game since release. If the controls were really that unresponsive then no matter how much practice you had you would never hit the correect directions. You just need learn each of the tracks to work out your timmings. It is just that this is the sort of game that just does require some practice to get 100% or at least an A or B rank which im sure is the reason why some just dont like it and so its easier to just blame the controls. They just want a game that they can pick up and play without any effort or thought. Now lets just say that everyone was able to hit every direction without fault, then all you would get is complaints that its too easy. I'd say that the Wii version is much easier than the Dreamcast version. For example, on Samba ver.2000 on the challenge/carreer mode some of those levels are near on impossible to to do as the spheres are moving so fast in all directions and to complete it you need to get an 100% A rank on Hard mode. Im living in hope that maybe we may see a sequal with motion+.

Are you sure it was a Saturn you played and not a Dreamcast as Marvel vs Capcom 2 wasnt released until the year 2000:confused:
-
I would love to see Wrestlefest, Pacland, Ninja Warriors and Thunderblade which could be made to use the Wiimote like the flight stick from the arcade sit down version.
-
Dont know if this has already been posted. Its a video showing off the Wii version with developer commentary. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=211847

Thats fine for the moment, lets just hope that no more games have huge save files like Super Smash Bros Brawl that cannot be transferred to SD.

Go to Wii Shop, click on Titles you've downloaded then select the updated file.
