There is also a lot of potential on PS3, games like MAG, Infamous - Thats on my 'to watch' list. And Naruto: Ninja storm are other games that could be big hits. Then there is my favourite fighter - Tekken. Killzone and Resistance both look like they will be great shooters. GT and Motorstorm to quench the thirst for racing. Metal Gear Solid is just immense. Little Big Planet is looking to be highly innovative. Fallout 3 is coming to all consoles, but that should fit the bill for the RPG section. For action games there is the debatable God of War and the inevitable Uncharted Sequel. Socom is also a good exclusive that will probably be huge online. Bioshock is also coming to PS3. That not forgetting the PSN games which are just very fun. All of these games appeal to me, and only 2 of these games or on 360, all of these influenced my decision in Ps3 purchase. This is the console for me, and I guess people like Dyson and Darkjak don't feel like these are awesome games, so that's why they got 360.

But the World Wars have been done so many times before. Both developers could focus on modern warfare or something not so ancient.

Basically I'm saying there are other things you could do which are more interesting than watch someone else do a speedrun - I mean it's pretty sad trying to speed run a game yourself, let alone watching someone else do it (especially seeing that you aren't rewarded anything in Zelda for doing this). So I think it's a wasted oppurtunity to raise money where they could have got more viewers if they did something more lively.

I think a quality use of the Wii-Mote was shown in Wii Sports bowling - It showed that the remote could reliably detect speed, angle and tilt. The challenges where you had to spin past the obstacles was very fun, I managed to complete it and it was very satisfying. When the ball did what i wanted it to that was rewarding. Aiming in Prime was good too. I maintain that a Timesplitters game on Wii would be perfect.

But that doesn't mean this was the only way they could have got high viewing figures does.... It's been and gone now so it doesn't matter anymore.

Yeah I get the gag but why did they have to do that. Surely that's going back a step seeing as the weapons become less interesting.

Why condone a marathon speed run session of games? Yeah, it's great for Childs Play and all but they could have done it in a way that wasn't so boring and wasteful.

I have heard of better ways to raise money for charity. Who's actually sponsoring this anyway?

Why did it need to look like that? It is just off-putting. The presentation and music is awful. I don't want to play a game like that. I have no problem with games intended for younger audiences but this just went out of it's way to be irritating. Underneath it actually looked like it could be fun.

So people, I think I may earn the easiest fiver of my life by the end of this season (or before). I bet £5 with a friend that Tottenham wouldn't finish in the top 4 at the end of the season. Anyone else think that's a good bet?

As far as I'm aware it's constantly Night-time for the Wii's 3rd parties. I was contemplating buying Boom Blox, a game which is basically glorified jenga that is marketed at toddlers, because there were no other intriguing titles.

Why do they have to de-grade the weapons? At least they have a flamethrower. And if I'm being honest I don't want a game that will devour my life.

Thing is it needs to be more than nintendo bringing the gamer stuff to the console. We've been playing nintendo franchises for 20 years and so the other developers need to step in, but they aren't. I have had enough of Metroid and Mario for this generation. There are too few 3rd parties releasing anything remotely interesting so I turned attention to a different console where many things seem to be catered for. I don't think they have lost it i just think their games are getting old. Get some more franchises out there. I'd like to see more potential, games like Disaster is a good start.

Will there be such a big community in World at War or do you reckon people will stay with this? Obviously it depends on the quality. I don't have this game and I'm not sure what it is that makes the game so great, I've played a few local multiplayer matches at a friend's house and thought it was a decent shooter, maybe I haven't played it enough. And surely it would be impossible for a newbie CoD man to get into the online stuff?

But then there are the fantastic PS3 exclusives that need thinking about.

I have fifa 08 and think it's pretty good, but I have the same problems with it as you guys. However much this game will be better, I think one football game for a couple of years is good enough for me, there's so many other games that need saving up for.

I reckon most people could do the no kills/ no alert thing. The first time through the game when you watch all the cut scenes it makes everything seem so epic, and it is, but there's actually only about 8 hours of gameplay if you go at a casual pace. You can do it flameboy, and believe me, the benefits you get are very cool.

Cheers. I'm not gonna even attempt Big Boss, the main thing putting me off being time limit and no recovery items. That is insane. May be a stupid question but you can't use Stealth Camo or Bandana for that emblem can you? Are there some emblems that you can use these with? Anyway, the stealth camo is really cool, just fun to be able to piss around and search everywhere with little worry. The no kill/no alert run begins to grate if you forget to save. Choze, do you have any ideas of cool things to do when you have s.camo, e.g funny claymore deaths etc?

I thought you weren't meant to do that eject + on button thing. I thought that was bad for the system...

Could be a job for a lens cleaner? Might have gathered a lot of dust whilst moving around?

I'm slightly miffed because some demos I download, when I try to install them they come up with errors. Maybe it's because the demos expire?

I'm sorry that I can't answer your question, but I really don't think you're missing out on anything special. I have the game and it gets so repetitive and the later levels result in a bore-fest. I also have it because it's cheap, but there is a reason for it.
