The funny thing is, he actually explains in the rest of the post why the reason you just gave isn't valid.

I like this explanation of the uncanny valley. It has examples!
Also, the discussion about non-cartoony animated movies reminded me that I still hadn't watched Tangled, so I decided to change that. I really enjoyed it.
Sure, but my link doesn't give people horrible, horrible nightmares!
Also, you totally need to watch Tangled. Don't trust the trailers. It is completely different. It's Disney back to their golden days.

Decided to put my basic photoshop skills into a design idea.
Damn misspelling. Fuck it it's too much work to change it.

No I didn't! I trusted mr-paul! Yeah, I thought ReZ was shady (I could tell ReZ's PM was fake the moment I saw it, but thought he was just hiding a useful power, or maybe he was Neutral, and we had bigger fish to fry)
Really? I clearly remember thinking: "Damn that Jonnas, he's figuring us all out!"
I noticed that the PMs that were written by yourselves were different than Diageo's style. This is why I trusted Dyson the moment he posted his PM, but thought ReZ was shady. mr-paul I never suspected because he never posted a fake PM (and helped me find Wolf/Herojan), so when he revealed the false info about Dyson I trusted him.So, posting your own PM brings an unfair advantage for the town. Picture PMs actually helped the mafia a lot regarding this (since they seemed more genuine), and I actually liked them a lot.
Still, it's all a matter of trying to replicate the style of PMs. I know it can be hard, but again, it's all a game of deception. I don't think I could tell the difference between the real and fake PMs, and I'm sure there are others who couldn't, either. I personally have no problem with it, but that's all a matter of taste, I guess.
-
See, even if we did figure him out, some of us were inevitably going to die beforehand, and that's probably what sits worst with me. Regarding the clues, I just don't think anyone ever suspected a game twist of this type (except the one who was silenced).
-
I'm really on the fence about Dohnut. I really want to believe him, and I know how horrible it is playing those suspicious roles when you're actually not trying to harm the town or steal their win. On the other hand, he's also a damn good liar, so I wouldn't put it past him to pull an Angus on us. At the moment I'm mostly trying to figure out whether I believe his story.
-
The picture roles were very cool, but it put the town at a disadvantage when the mafia made fake ones. It was hard to judge wither they were real or fake, really, but then the whole "quote your PM" as a form of proof of ID is a wobbly bit of ground anyway.
I never understood why quoting PMs is sometimes not allowed. Surely it's just as trustworthy as anything else said and merely an issue of how good people are at lying their asses off?
-
THOUGH, ReZ admitted he did track him, so there was in fact an Ostrich there at some point, so I'm not sure what to believe because he must have let the Ostrich into his room which wasn't a dream and that is how the killer managed to get in?
This sounds SO funny out of context.
-
Why is jay suspicious again, exactly?
-
Why did you think Jonnas was evil?
-
I've just decided to call the problem Creepy Face Syndrome. LA Noire also suffers from it.
-
But I'm tired of, two killers, are constantly making up theories and speak about them like they are undeniable truth and then in the nekst paragraph leaping on someone else like they're more suspicous than yourself.
I agree with everything you've said but this. What else are we supposed to do? We know we're good/neutral/whatever, so if we're interested in helping the town, of course we're going to jump on people we think are suspicious. That's why it's relevant to look at our votes.
-
Good killers. Lulz.
Don't tempt me, artichoke boy ... I might just kill you and at least give the town a proper reason to lynch me!
-
I have never considered the fact you were Angus last time. In fact, I didn't know that until now.
A lot of people were initially suspicious of me on that ground even before the game had properly started. It annoys me a bit since I find it absolutely silly that I would retain that exact role from last time when it's obvious he's the main culprit this time around. The role Jonnas has given me is ingenious, and I love him for it, but it does take some of the pleasure away that people are stuck in the old Angus track, even when it's been proven he's not me.
Still, I can perfectly understand the suspicion based on the fact that I'm a killer. It's just too bad that people always jump on good killers and neutrals, because it makes playing such characters a bother.
-
There was obviously a lot of creativity put into the game and the mechanics, and I liked it very much.
The role pictures were a neat little thing, but it did make it troublesome to make fake PMs.
I like the detail level of the write-ups. The ending was an epic twist, and it was written pretty well.

Haha, it is 3D.. But I don't consider it when I talk about 3D animation . Perhaps I should be more clear about that . I haven't seen it by the way, but it's supposed to be very good.
Anyway, I like animation in general, whether it be 2D, 3D, or stop motion, although I prefer 2D I think.
Perhaps it's getting a bit off-topic, but on the topic of 3D animation that doesn't feature "funny" animals, I'd like to show people a short by someone from Pixar.
[Alma] (to bad I can't embed vimeo)
More charm than anything Dreamworks has ever made, and I'd like to see more of this.
I find it a shame that people keep comparing Pixar to DreamWorks when they're obviously not trying to do the same thing.

Nothing Dannyboy, there's no way to prove your innocence, unless you are dead.
Well, whoopee-fucking-doo, then.
-
They're not silly reason. You have to stop putting things like that in people's head. You're a killer with an unconfirmed agenda.
Sure, I admit to those things, but nothing I do is seemingly capable of winning people's trust, and I generally feel that suspicion is on me solely because I was Angus last time, which I find somewhat unfair. It has been proven that I'm not Angus, I pushed the lynch on Marc (the real Angus, ironically), and I didn't even vote for Mundi. What more can I do to prove my innocence? I'd really love to know.
-
sorry danny but no amount of shouting about your role will make it certified that you're town!
Of course not, I'm fully aware of that. I just hate it when people keep suspecting me on silly grounds or even false info, and it's especially astounding how many times people have got my role wrong.

What if at the end of Time & Space, you could travel into Urion 100 years ago? A whole new world, a whole new set of characters, some new Pokemon, new starters. Instead of a Pokedex, you had a diary and had to draw the Pokemon you found. It could be a cool bonus adventure, like going back to Kanto in Gold and Silver. And with interesting costumes and Pokemon centers and stuff...
Or am I going mad?
My first thought when reading this was 18th century/steampunk Pokémon.
I approve.

To be fair, I've heard from a circumcised friend that the supposed reason sex is better when circumcised is because the glans becomes less sensitive and thus enables the guy to last longer.
-
That guy is brilliant. He's also the creator of the famous talking cats.
-
But I don't consider it a gamebreaking role, if you use that argument than an investigator is even more broken. If there's only 1, and he/she dies, are you going to cry? No.
I personally don't think it's an essential gamemechanic. Like I said, you can still make a good guess, and it affects town and mafia alike.
But I do consider it a game-changing mechanic, since I've always considered the deductive detective work of the town the most important aspect of the game. If no alignments are revealed, it hampers their ability to do so very much.
Which ironically makes your point about the loss of a cop invalid.
-
It makes it slightly more "realistic". The host can (and has if I understand right) introduceds abilities to compensate for this..
It's just not a good idea to have powers make up for a loss of a common game mechanic. Inactives and early deaths mean you should NEVER have a game breaker character, but strive to make all (or at least most) characters interesting/useful.
I'm confused by you folk saying "Makes it more realistic".....compared to what?Well ... real life? If we consider the lynch situation to be real, the angry mob would never find out if they made the right decision. It's not like a sign will pop up after death that says "good guy!"

Nope, no way to find out anything - not from my traps, not from anywhere. I only had to go by discussions in the day phase, which I why I came out as actively searching for the princess. I found it easier than waiting. The ironic part is that I later on actually managed to deduce my three alternative targets, so I could have gone for them instead, but at that point it would have got lynched. Still, I don't even know if killing my three alternative targets would have done me any good before the princess was gone - they were my second priority if the princess died by another's hand.
It would indeed seem like it has become impossible for Dohnut to win, yes.
