i personnally dont see the problem. the pictures mean nothing till we see them in motion might be a fast paced game.

i think nintendo are on the right track but only time will tell.

What about 3rd party games etc i for one dont own a single touch gen game ( not my thing) but i have mates who own DS's and their girlfriends now play them aswell for the touch gen games. back to me, i have many none touch gen game and i would say the split between the 2 is very fair. 50/50 i would say.

did you watch the american conference? touch generation games made up 30+% of NOA total software sales that is a third. so it is not just japan i think you need to check your facts.

i am not disrespecting anything. i am just making the observation that we are having the same arguments that were going exactly 2 years ago about the PSP v the DS sony have the best track record? lets put things into perspective. they have released 2 consoles that have done well at the peak of the gaming industry, they caught a wave and have been riding it ever since. They have had no imagination what so ever they just want grphics and power. Nintendo have been there done that and have learned. now is the time for a change. the figure speak for themselves the industry was in decline until the DS was released. that gave the industry a much needed boost. when sony have been in gaming for 25+ years then i will back up on my statement till then i think we have another sega on our hands.

LOL i am getting de ja vu. PSP v DS anyone? Right so when sony made the PSP with their mobile format they were going to own. it never took off and the PSP has been a flop. and getting a PS3 as a stand alone blu-ray player is not what sony want. they will be selling each system at a loss and would rely on the software to make the profit, how is that going to happen if people dont buy games? they are also relying on a new format to take off , as was the case with the PSP, if it doesn't (i dont think it will) then you are buying an expensive gaming system only. and those who use it as a stand alone player may as well use it as a piss pot cause that is what they will have done with their cash pissed it all away.

ok so we know thw wii will be out at christmas. we know that because there is no PS3 then the wii will have a bumper sale at crimbo and carry on through to march relatively unchallenged. March 2007 and the PS3 get released. What do nintendo do to make sure that the PS3 doesnt steal all the sales? do we see some bumper first party titles released then? i though MP3 was meant to be a launch title. are they deliberately holding it back till march? will we see SSB, FF:CC & other A* games out then? i am fascinated and wana know what you guys think. please lets discuss : peace: out.

i went into game on saturday and they said they are not taking preorders till they know what allocation they have so it will be a few weeks before they take preorders. damn it i want to pre-order.

target is £280 and i have £200. so i dont think £80 in 3 months will be too hard.

i feel the dull ache like i have been kicked in the balls. oh yeah i just have £179.99 for a the same product that sell in america for not too far off £135 is a bit of a piss take. i know we get a game but we dont get any other controller. i will still get it but i feel a bit deflated at the moment.
