  1. The most annoying thing about it for me is the need to keep having to change the batteries. If they had of gave us rechargeable batteries from the outset, I would have been a very happy bunny.
  2. Obscure artists/genres welcome. Artist: God is an Astronaut Album: A Moment of Stillness Track: Frozen Twilight
  3. Groudon reference. Instant 8/10
  4. Best day of my childhood. When I was in primary four, our teacher's blouse burst open. Everyone in our class started a "Boobies...boobies" chant including the girls. Her face went scarlet, awesome!
  5. Not sure if this counts but I always had an infatuation with Ulrika Jonsson from Gladiators when I was younger.
  6. Artist: The Dandy Warhols Album: Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia Track: Cool Scene
  7. Ah right sorry I just saw that there. I just thought it might be a cool idea but not to worry. Consider the sig fixed, and thanks for the warm welcome. I hope to stick around here, I like the interface
  8. Apologies. The only other music thread I could find was locked. Feel free to lock this and give me a link to the other one and I'll be on my way
  9. Hey guys, I'm just a new member I know and you'll probably think of me as an arrogant prick for suggesting something having only been here for 10 minutes. Well I'm a member of another forum and there we have a scheme whereby members get rewarded for quality of posts/funny things/helping out by receiving stars. The stars system works by each member getting a certain number of stars at the beginning of every week and the amount depending on their post count. They then give the member of their choice a star by clicking on a little button and have the option of giving them a little message as to why they've gave them the star. It's a way of encouraging members to improve the quality of their posts and create a little bit of friendly rivalry thus making forum activity more frequent and the quality of SPAG (spelling, punctuation and grammar) increasing. It's just a suggestion and in theory I think it could work well for this place. Anyone have any thoughts/issues? My main concern is how easy it would be to implement
  10. Sorry guys, I'm a n00b and couldn't find a similar thread to this so correct me if I'm wrong in creating this. Basically, I'm a big music fan and I'm guessing some of you guys on here share my passion. I'll listen to most things from The Beatles all the way to Jay-Z, through Kraftwerk and back to Metallica. I've got my ticket for Oxegen '07 bought and was wondering what you guys are listening to at the minute. Also, it provides a little bit of a break from "The Poetry of Robert Frost" Artist: Boards of Canada Album: Geogaddi Track: Alpha and Omega I'm quite open minded so I'll welcome all suggestions, especially quite obscure genres and artists.
  11. Hey guys, first post. I have a Wii and to be honest, I was caught up in the hype train. I thought it would introduce this whole new way to play games and with the initial gloss having wore off, I became a little disappointed. Zelda was a great game but not all that it promised to be. Wii sports is a gem and great multiplayer value and has a surprising amount of depth. I purchased Wario Ware and was to be honest disappointed. The multiplayer seemed to be lacking and most of the games seemed 'tacked on'. However having recently played Mario Strikers, this is the Wii game I've been waiting on. It's fun, slick and has a good depth to it. Endless replay value in terms of both offline and online multiplayer. In short, if you have the money, get yourself a '360 and an xbox live subscription and wait until the Wii library heats up a bit with the imminent arrival of Metroid and both Mario games. I hope this has been of some use to you
