Ditto. I'm in it for the learning experience. As long as I'm pronounced the best learner at the end of it all! I think I suggested dropping the scores a couple of years back but most people wanted to keep them. Anyhoo, I bought Wii Fit Plus a while back and I still haven't played it in earnest. It appealled because you can apparently queue up a series of exercises to create your own fitness program instead of constantly having to fetch the Wiimote, put it down again and so on. It also has lots of extra games and exercises to try out, though there's still no 'Angry Sergeant' Workout Trainer available. I'll get back into it one of these months.

Nicely put. That got me thinking about games that were made before a looping soundtrack was technically possible. For example, the Atari games of old. They had sound effects of course and maybe a short bit of music before the game began. Many Atari games were real nail-biters, having you on the edge of your seat and I think the lack of music really contributed to this. Games like Battlezone, Combat, Berzerk! were all games that were really tense and I can't help but feel that the tension would have been less with music playing in the background, but who knows?

I think I got it. Basically, the person with the most amount of votes in the run-off, gets to elect a representative to the Sudanese government, yes? I think it's an interesting idea that's worth a go. If it doesn't work very well, then we won't do it again. Maybe if we're waiting a long time for someone to get back with a guess or a panel number to reveal, we should introduce a time limit?

Agreed. I like to discuss hobbies rather than chat generally about stuff. I'm not a big conversationalist in real life but I could talk about games quite happily for ages. Message boards, same goes.

Game music is very important to me. The only time I've played with the sound off is on the DS due to being in company at the time. Some games are almost defined by their music (like Nando said, with Streets of Rage) or even by their lack of music (Ico springs to mind). It's always seemed a travesty to me that some videogame music composers are absolute geniuses (Yuzo Koshiro, Yasunori Mitsuda) but do not get the same recognition as composers in other media.

Just to clarify, the 'one guess per person' was ONLY for guessing which of the numbered screenshots was the unreleased game and it was a one-off bonus, which I won't be making a habit of!

Since this leaves the order of events a little difficult to decipher, I'm going to award the two points to Magnus for the game name and 1 point to darksnowman for the number.
