Just to let you guys know that HMV were happy to replace my DVD boxset of 30 Rock that had a missing disc with a brand new boxset. All the discs were intact this time, sadly the box is a little damaged in the corners but what can you do. Incredibly, they were selling it at a sale price of £30 yesterday , when before Xmas it was going for £18 instore. While online it's £10 at Amazon/Play. The staff were very nice about it, just a shame their prices are a bit random.

Well I'm 20 stars into this game since Xmas. Just opened up the third world and wow this game is pure gaming bliss thus far. Love how the galaxies are littered with hidden stars Music is fantastic as well, new ones just as catchy while it's still lovely to hum along to the familiar tunes! I think the Spaceship Mario has been implemented great and I prefer having this and the World Map than compared to the big overworld in Galaxy 1.

I also support the suggestions of Chuck & Community. Both incredible shows, if you want to see an episode of each show before purchasing the DVD then Chuck is on Living while Community is on Viva. I would also suggest Seinfeld, 30 Rock or Arrested Development

Unbelievable, for Xmas I got a sealed copy of 30 Rock Season 1 and 2. Been thoroughly enjoying and working my through each episode going through each disc. To my utter dismay, I open the case for Season 2 Disc 2, and it's missing! Can't believe it, I have definitely not lost the disc, it just wasn't there to begin with. So when I ask my parents where they bought it from.....HMV.

I only buy items from HMV that are in the clearance, have managed to get a couple of CDs for £3 each while they were still going for £8+ online. But otherwise I barely make a purchase there, I just browse. Since the increase of popularity in areas like games, DVDs, Blu-Rays (even selling gadgets), I feel that HMV have sort of lost their image as being the place to go to buy music by branching out to all those other areas. It's sad to see some of their stores closing (is there any list to show which ones?) but they've had it coming by charging incredibly high prices for the majority of their items and not competing well enough against supermarkets and online. A lot of my purchases are TV boxsets, and since HMV charge such high prices compared to online, I have no choice but to buy online. One other thing about buying instore is that their CD cases are generally really scratched & DVD boxes can be slightly damaged since other people may have been handling it or even missing some packaging, whereas online they'll come in really good condition and sealed.

Let's not under-estimate the idea of 3D TV and film content being on the handheld providing Nintendo get more agreements with other companies. I think so far that area hasn't been talked about much, but is another reason why the 3DS will probably sell out.

Great to see Pro Evo as a playable demo, interested in how that shapes up. Having grown up on Game Boys I find it difficult to play mobile phone games for much longer than a few minutes, and I reckon that feeling is shared among other people too. Therefore, I still need my dose of proper handheld gaming from time to time. I hope the price point is low enough so that I can justify a purchase, since at the end of the day not only would I be investing in the console, but also for a good number of games. I hope we see a new 3D Mario on the handheld, maybe Super Mario Galaxy 3D?

It's too early to judge on the game. SSX Tricky was a very decent game but SSX3 is probably one of my all-time favourite games too. I also own SSX Blur but that was almost too cartoony and unresponsive controls, was let down by that game. I think I noticed in this trailer that the front of the helicopter said "Elise" in that typical SSX graffiti style so I still have hope this is the next-gen SSX we were hoping for!

Finally got my first win of the season with a 4-0 win over Cube. Sidwell scoring all 4 goals
