    Well it's relative. lol. It's actually really bad promotion, but better than her last album. She's been on TV a couple of times, but has mostly been doing magazine interviews. The reason she's not on the radio is cause she's not pop or pop-rock. Therefore she's instantly excluded. Also, the minds of the masses couldn't handle her awesomeness.

    Whoa nelly! Volta is one of her weakest efforts BTW! Go and pick up Homogenic, Vespertine and Medulla at some point, since those are her best works by far. If you can only get one get Homgoenic though. Glad her current heavy promotion is gaining her new fans.

    Some of us have a more mature palette for the arts. Some of us don't. (He was referring to me about the Atonement thing, BTW. I said I'd prefer to see Atonement over Superbad. Shock horror) I know it'd be good, i'm saying it's shit like I said Transformers was, then saw it and it was worse than I thought. It's just Atonement is so much more interesting to me.

    Yeah, it's very different. I got YS first actually. Milk-Eyed Mender is a bit more quirky in the songs, while YS is beautiful and unconventional. I love them both, but I think I prefer the Milk-Eyed Mender. She is undoubtedly one of best songwriters/lyricts i've ever heard though.

    Well I like Blondie more than the Ramones/ACDC etc. I'm over it either way. --- I'm in an Alanis Morissette craze atm. Under Rug Swept is such a good album. Though it kinda drags at the end. Hands Clean FTW.

    Back then it was a big deal though. No one has ever had that hair, or that kinda of sex appeal. Basically if Andy Warhol did a portrait of you, you were an icon. (That's like how I define it lol) --- In other news. I complied my interpretation of Bjork's Greatest Hits. 2 discs for a joke. 32 of the greatest songs ever. / Half are just good.

    I'm not a big Classic Rock fan. Actually,allmost not at all. Out of them, I listen to Queen and Talking Heads. I have a few songs from the others, but I don't really listen to them. I find Classic Rock terribly dull.

    (I can see it's not razor sharp quality, but is it really that noticeable..? I do have slowly degrading eyesight, so it probably is!) EDIT: 9.6/10 Simple and coooooool.

    I said most mainly in reference to the crap that was in the charts at the time, but yeah Sex Pistols and The Clash are good. I prefer to listen to Blondie usually though. I actually have The Ramones anthology, but I can't be bothered listening to it. It's juts a bit..I don't know. I don't like his voice. Still. Debbie Harry FTW in general.

    Well, I don't know that, but i'd heard. Even so, that makes very little difference. Hole released Live Through This, Nirvana didn't. I like Hole after Nirvana too. It's a different style, but Celebrity Skin and some other tracks really stand out. I happen to think I have a fairly mature musical appreciation/taste for someone of my age. (Judging from my peers) I have a wide one too. Bjork is music to me, and no one can dethrone her, that i've heard, and most of my favourite artists are alternative. I hate how people hate music because of its background. I love live Through This, not becasue I thought Courtney wrote it (why would I give a shit?), but because it has great songs on it. I prefer her voice to Kurts too. --- Anyway, Anyone heard Debbie Harry's new/upcoming/unreleased single, "Two Times Blue"? It roxxx. Yay. Blondie ARE good. In fact they own most 80's/70's bands. But they aren't good in your opinion, so i'm in the wrong obviously.

    Well, I do. However, I don't think they pwn them or whatever. Hole are better for me as kinda angsty music, whereas Nirvana is kinda angsty but not. I dont know. (I'm talking about Live Through This, not Celebrity Skin btw, which is a totally different style)

    Yeah, Blondie like pwn most old bands. Realistically Sunday Girl/Heart Of Glass/Atomic could be one of my favourite songs ever. I'm gonna watch the DVD from the GH now! Bye.
