I have the odd go on BF2, there's still tons of servers going. I much prefer the m+k combo, so i'm going to prefer any PC BF over a console one. But i really love the console ones.

Chelsea and United really aren't playing well, so i wouldn't be surprised if Newcastle got points from those games. I'd expect City to beat them though. :p

Yeah that's what I mean. Last game vs Recall, I basically had the perfect counter tactics. His offence was through plays, I tightened the centre. I went wing plays, he tightened the centre. I guessed his formation, he did not. I also marked his playmaker, while he did not. I got 4 stars, but still, it doesn't seem consistent.

I ended up not going. My nanna died a couple of days before and I just really didn't feel up for it. I did abit more research on the company, as the place where i was interviewed was weird. It felt as though it was temporary or something, not once did i see the company name anywhere, and it just seemed really unprofessional. The woman who interviewed me didn't even ask me anything, she basically glanced at my CV asked me a few pointless questions and said come for a trial day. I looked online and it was for door-to-door sales. Not once did they ever mention that to me, so I wouldn't of gone anyway. I did that once before and it's the shittiest job ever.

I don't understand the manager rating/stars thing. Seems totally random to me, doesn't reflect skill correctly.

Come on Ramar, i'd expect you to know that 2 little stats don't tell the whole story. :p Carroll has had good games where he hasn't scored, and probably deserved to. That's not even right, Carroll has scored 2 vs City, 1 vs Everton, 1 vs WBA, and one against Exeter.

Torres is a laughing stock because he's playing terribly, I never mentioned his price tag. Carroll is playing better than Torres, so I have nothing to worry about.

I honestly don't get your point. So his performances are irrelevant, it's all about the transfer fee?

So even if he goes and scores 30 a season, he will be a laughing stock? Does that make Ronaldo a laughing stock? Zidane aswell? He's playing out of position, but yeah he's doing ok. The thing is, we haven't bought these players for 11 games, we have them on 5/6 year contracts. Judge them after they've actually started a game in their position, and gave them some time. The ridiculous mindset of some football fans is silly. People are not happy with anything other than instant success, with is impossible to achieve, really.

But the maps are shit, and tiny. In Battlefield (i haven't played the others so can't comment), there's 'only' 9 maps, but they're really really big, and beautifully designed.

Fucking hell. Possibly the most frustrating match I've ever watched, then again I punched myself really hard in the leg at the full time whistle vs Norwich. It's a mystery why we are so shit against promoted teams, we should be winning them under any circumstances, and anything other than that is a massive disappointment. In other games we have dropped points we have mostly deserved more, but our finishing has let us down. Today, we didn't deserve to win. We created a few chances and didn't finish them, obviously, but Swansea were brilliant and created just as many, possibly more. We need a midfield playmaker desperately. A few players really need to start improving (Downing, Lucas, Kuyt), as they just haven't been good enough. I find the slating of Carroll hilarious, people only seem to talk about him after a bad game, they just ignore the good games he has, he doesn't deserve half the crap he gets. That was a terrible dive, yes, but calling him a waste of money because of it is laughable.

Have only played with you guys once, we need to get some squads going. Playing with people with more than a brain cell will make it infinitely more enjoyable.
