When we had "The Truth" Mosaic at Anfield v Arsenal in the FA Cup 3rd round, it was to protest Kelvin Mckenzie's role in the BBC after he came out and said how what he printed that day was true... It was a pretty bad reaction among Liverpool supporters, including myself I might add, of course the glory hunters following the club wouldn't give too hoots, but I believe it was somewhat brushed under the carpet due to what he had done for the club. Oh and yeah everyone hates Freddy Shepard, he is a media whore and almost all of his interviews go something along the lines of "If I know anything, so will you on Sky Sports News" Benitez is a huge believer in rotation, that is why we have got to this stage of the season with a squad full of fit players, so in that sense it has paid off but I think it is a case of resting players, when they shouldn't be rested, I mean rotation works but you surely don't need to rotate at the beginning of the season, thats where we went wrong, we weren't strong enough. LW wise, I think Kewell can still do a job, I don't see that as an area of major improvement, pending if Kewell can stay fit... And reguarding Owen, I have it on good information we could of had him for £8 Million but Parry would only get him in January, Owen was on the verge of losing his wife, and of course a chance at the world cup... He Kopped out (Excuse the Pun), Joined Newcastle and things went tits up for him...

Bluestar, Just had a quick look then, Owen WANTED to Join Liverpool, but we could only get him in January of that season because we never had the money.. I will read it more in depth later on, but I will say one thing, I will not be suprised to see Owen in a Liverpool Shirt Again...

Steve Finnan is so underated it's scary, Easily been one of Liverpool's most consistant performers over the past 3 Years, getting forward wise I think he is awesome, but you do have a point, their are better RB that can go forward, Alves maybe? RW you have a point, once again maybe Alves, He can play their as wel? Striker, Couldn't agree more, personally I would want Owen back, I would fugging love it if we got him.. Benitez I feel is short of 2 players of competing for the league title, a striker and a RW...His ideas and tactics are spot on, just the players aren't producing, or weren't as the case maybe at the beginning of the season I ain't got time to read that, but will give my view when I get home

We do not have a good enough squad, thats evident, the past 3 seasons have been hampered constantly by poor starts, but don't rule us out, I am not saying we are going to win it of course, but put it this way... Chelsea have spent Millions Man Utd have built a team over 20 Years Arsenal have had Wenger for 8 Years... Now we have Benitez, who will have substantial amounts of money for the first time, can finally bring us forward once more. We are one or two players short and I believe next year if we can get a good start we CAN be there or there abouts come May '08...Don't Rule us out yet Have to admit though, Liverpool FC don't get much credit on these forums, if Utd had achieved what Benitez has in the past 3 years we would never hear the end of it. 2 EUROPEAN CUP FINALS in 3 YEARS is nothing to be sniffed at, we have beaten winners of their respective leagues and have come out on top, credit where it is due guys.... In A Nutshell, Once we had top four, 3rd or 4th, It didn't matter, we had bigger fish to fry in the Champions League, and now we are in the final. 3rd Place + A CL Final Place, All in All not a BAD season, but yes we do need a good start to compete to the end in the Premiership...

Chris Hutching's who is taking over was Assistant to Jewell at Bradford, after Bradford escaped relegation in a similar way, Jewell resigned allowing Chris To take over... and guess what happend, they got relegated... Hopefully Wigan can stay up, and comfortably, they are awesome to be honest

Shocked to see Paul Jewell go....Man City it is i'd imagine... It has been the players, not the manager, I really can't pin point it other than to say that we have been out of the race before October, year after year.... We don't have the best squad yet and won't do for a long time, but Don't rule us out

Good Enough Manager?...What? Squad wise we do need improvements but we are 8/10's of the way their in terms of having a squad that can compete to the end... But good enough manager? We have one of the best managers in the world at our club who has guided us to 2 European Cup Finals, with a chance of winning it for the 2nd time in 3 years... He has won 4 Trophies already which should not be sniffed at, he just needs money to buy world class players, Wether we will win it next season who knows? But Rafa is getting it right and I do not see any reason why we cannot be their, or there abouts come May '08 The thing is before Chelsea got Roman they weren't a big club, they hadn't won much, weren't bringing in the players. With Roman the expectations are so high it's unbelieveable, I mean look at Ranieri, any other season for a club of chelsea's standard a 2nd Place finish and Semi Finalists would of been greeted with a statue erected for him, but since Roman come in Chelsea have been deemed a big club, when they are far from. Chelsea should ideally should be thrilled with the sucess they have had, but since money is put into the equation, what they have won has been a let down... Which is weird...

I don't see why people are ruling Liverpool out for the Prem... Let us not forget Liverpool now have some major money pumping into the club, and of course they are in the Champions League. Not saying we will win it, but to rule us out before the league has even started is just stupid. Things like that make me cringe, it's an overused cliche Do you think Newcastle will win something this Millenium? We have more of a chance of winning something, so you can't really rule out us for anything... Can't see you guys doing anything next season, Fat Fred can spend all his money but we all know the board will panic again, and the next manager will be sacked come January. Warnock is almost as bad as Fat Sam...
