Well Arsenal were the better team, i cant complain there. Bad handball by vidic though- naughty boy. Very lucky there! But Owen should have had a penality so i suppose that evens it out in a way. Big day next sunday now! Can't believe i am going to be in work during it though!!!! :/ Chelsea have done fantastic to get back to where they are in the league.

I thought tonights episode was ace! Some wtf moments though which i am sure they are going to come back to later on! Looks like i was right about the tally's on the face being to count them... also the Doctor pretty much confirmed it for me that the ship from the previous series did belong to the Silence as he said something along the lines of "i have seen one of these before... but abandoned". Wtf moments:

Well just to point out that a noise nuisance is not a police matter - it is council under enviromental heath. But people tend to call the police , the police can only do something relating to a party is other factors get involved like it spilling out into a street etc. The police interviened as they must have suspected something more sinister would have taken place. Obviously not on the scale of an attack i mentioned but the basis is the same. None of us probably know the full story behind this, for all we know these protestors could come out as all innocent but they may have been planning an act which would have breached the peace. Very true, and unfortunatly it is not really possible to do. But you could say the same as how do the police tell the difference between a peaceful protestor and someone out to cause trouble? It is like a never ending circle. -

Yes i can see the difference as obviously it is a very big one. My point was the part of the arguement given is that how can the police arrest someone for an offence they have not yet commited. All i have done is given an extreme example of why the police arrest before an offence has been commited, To prevent an offence being commited in the first place. -

You keep bringing up the fact they were arrested and taken away for something they hadn't even done yet. To arrest someone you only need suspicion that an offence will be/about to be or has been commited. Obviously to be charged with something is seperate as that requires evidence. Obviously the police had suspicion that an offence was going to take place hence the arrests. From your logic should we let terrorists and the like blow up places and then arrest them afterwords because they have then done something wrong? EDIT: Also police officers are individuals as well, and unfortunatly there will be the minority that are idiots/power hungry who don't follow things properly which make the majority of officers look bad. -

As others have said protesting did go on and it was fine, what they were planning could have breached the peace and a judgement call was made. Look at this another way. If the police did nothing and it all went to shit, wouldn't everyone be complaining then how shit the police were for doing nothing? And how they handled the protests if a different issue, again a judgement call was made. All the damage that was caused is what made the police react as they did, they obviously felt they had to do something. I don't know if they made the right decision or not, i wasn't there but i have heard both sides to that arguement. -

Sounds to me like they were arrested for potencial breace of the peace. Which is an arrestable offence if an officer can prove that their actions could lead to the peace being broken. It doesn't happen everyday but obviously more attention is provided with these type of events. E.G. They demostate a mock execution of a royal family member, other people don't like it and start shouting/fighting with them, the mockers fight back = a breace of the peace. -

To try and avoid an all out flame war of insults... Nobody is right or wrong about this (excluding said insults). It is possible that no details have been taken at all and it was just someone out for the challenge of hacking PSN or they have taken some details but not enough to do anything with. However nothing is 100%, i have aired on the side of caution and cancelled my debit card etc and changed passwords. It is up to the individual how they want to proceed with the given information and the fact PSN has been down for a week now says to me Sony are at least trying to make sure everything is fort knox type security!!

Well done! Well i have only put a little weight back on, maybe a few pounds. I'm still looking at a overall lose since January as 2 and half stone though as i have already said! Gonna go back into proper diet mode over the next few days and see if i can't get some more big weight off me!

Well all this Sony lark which has had been changing passwords etc has finally prompted me to turn off Auto-Renew for Gold membership. You can't do it on the site but i rang them up and got it sorted. I have already had an e-mail since informing me that my LIVE membership expires on the 1st July and to renew now to not loose out! lol. No thanks Microsoft, i shall be purchasing LIVE membership elsewhere for a cheaper price closer to the time!

This is uber awesome. I'm pretty shit at Gears online though but i have always loved it. Like the new little tweaks here and there. Now my gf has set off for uni again today i shall have more time for this and other games!

This. I already have ID protection and the lark (i get a txt if anyone applies for credit in my name etc) after being done in the past by unknown means. I have changed my e-mail address, changed my passwords (i use the same one for everything... opps!), cancelled my debit card and ordered a new one (i have been meaning to do that anyway as it doesn't always work anymore- this just prompted a change). Yes they may not have all the details they need... but i would rather not wait and find out.

Yeah XBL has had it's issues in the past with some slow down or the problem at xmas 2008, but nothing this bad as pretty much nothing is working at all online for half a week so far. Still silly that a company is trying to use this as a way to sell products!

No they haven't. Although in the credits, they were credited as 'The Silence' I am assuming they will be offically introduced in the next ep. Yeah i think quite a few of them have been taken out of context as well!

I watched the first one ages ago and found it hilarious! I watched the two afterwoods but they were no where near as good. I may watch the others at some point just to see if they got better.
