I don't get why we should have to suffer friend codes at all. Parents should take five minutes of their time and set parental control up in Wii's settings if they are worried.

A Game magazine was posted to me today, and it stated that it was out in May. No exact date though.

I do enjoy both shows, they are all biased to one platform, Microsoft mostly it seems, but it's interesting none the less.

8.4 on IGN, and it states that the ubertricks that most, if not all, the reviews are complaining about are very difficult, but you can get them down, which could explain those employees showing off the game, that had no problem with them. I guess some of the more negative reviews just didn't put in enough time with the game, or didn't feel it was worthwhile.

I do hope they release a PES game and not some ISS nonsense. My PS2 has been basically a PES playing machine for the last two years.

Is it worth waiting for the official cables? Why are the Fanatec cables described as "premium"? Also, when my Wii is hooked up to my tv (32", 720p capable) in 60Hz the display is much worse ('lines'/'scrapes' in the display) than in 50Hz, while on my old tv I didn't notice the difference between the two. Does anyone know why? Will the component cables sort this out? Cheers, Breandán.

Haha! I did, purely in the interest of research, and when you go to view a video, it tells you that your software is out of date, but you can ignore that, and voila. WiiPorn goodness.

Hitting the 2 button appears to bring up all the links on a page. Pretty cool. Actually, it just makes everything easier to read and navigate.

I had that problem, but I raised the sensitivity in the sensor bar settings and everything is fine now.

I got a little shiver down my spine when I first powered on, and saw the blue flash. Also, the rumble and speaker delighted me. When I heard a lot of peole complain about lack of rumble in controllers, I didn't see the big deal, as I never really noticed it, but when I held the controller up to my face when Wii bowling, it felt great. My father also loved it (beating me in bowling), and I haven't seen him enjoy anything in about ten years!

I'm going to go try and talk someone at Game into selling me the Wii tomorrow. The last day will be the worst. The excitement is exponential and I just can't take it!

I got £15 in Game, if that's any help.

"Wii + Sports is standard (obviously) then you can add these on top; +Wii Play + Any Game = £255" I'll hopefully be picking that up then, you can probably guess what game. I rang my branch yesterday and they said that I'm guaranteed a console, but I think now that'll I'll get up early, to make sure I get Wii Play. I need some multiplayer to try and win my girlfriend round, I may have alienated her already with my Wii obsession. Didn't even notice that.

Bah, no midnight launch for me after all! They held one for the Godfather game, but none for the Wii, bastards. They are opening early though, a whole half hour. So, now I've to decide whether or not to get up early and head in at rush hour, or sleep in and go down town at a quieter time.
