  1. The music in the game is brilliant. It's one of my favourite things.
  2. Ah, convolution. Guaranteed to stop the lynch on account of half the audience losing track of what seemed pretty simple to everyone before. How can you discount my role on account of your own beliefs on how a game should be balanced, then continue on to argue that most of my points are based on hearsay? It's a weak argument and you know it. By that logic it's also possible that within a week a natural disaster could wipe out the Earth. But you certainly wouldn't bet on it. Well, I wouldn't. As I've already stated, I'm limited to 3 uses and the other investigator was also handicapped in a different way. It's Jimbob's method of spreading risk. I've not siad you roleblocked Mr-P. Go back and re-read. I've said that YOU, RUMMY or YVONNE is lying. Now follow this closely.. If you are lying, obviously your info is shit and your mafia. If Rummy is lying, you being untargetable is made up and DeDeDe and Yvonnes claim is backed up. If Yvonne is lying, DeDeDe's still clears Yvonne. Not true at all. Both Rummy and I are telling the truth. Jon may be telling the truth as far as he knows but I did reach Yvonne. Yvonne is definitely lying and Dedede does not clear Yvonne at all, because Yvonne clearly made up his claim to exonerate himself. No. The crux of my argument is based on three things: 1. Alignment investigation. A given. 2. Succinct behavioural analysis of Yvonne that only a raving fool would ignore. 3. The clear hiccup made by Yvonne in not denying having targeted me when accused, rather stating my points were fair aside from one unrelated one. It doesn't matter if Yvonne hammered or not. What mattered is that Yvonne's sudden change in behaviour from considering Cube to outright lynching Aqui1a, combined with no justification was enough for me to investigate him and get a verdict. While on the contrary, your post has been really useful for me and the rest of town. I've no doubts now that both Yvonne and you are part of the Mafia. Whatever happens, I would hope people remember that I have campaigned to try to get Yvonne lynched on account of what I know to be true, and that should I be lynched that people bear this paragraph in mind when hunting down scum. This may sound cheesy, but whatever. Believe in me. It's pretty clear that people are more likely to follow you than me. This was not a Mafia organised lynch. The Mafia could have ended this lynch so easily if they wished it, which is ideal in a short game. They did not. The details that have emerged here at times may seem contradictory, but I want you to know that I would find it impossible to muster anywhere near this amount of effort and dedication to secure the lynch of someone if I was Mafia. I am committed to obtaining the lynch, and winning the game for town. In all honesty, if I was Mafia now I wouldn't have bothered. If I was Mafia and I knew we had taken out a cop and a protector, I certainly wouldn't be seeking lynches. Anyway. End of heartfelt plea, etc. It's up to town to pick a side. Or not, but to do nothing is to help the Mafia too.
  3. The comment about me being unreachable rather than you being screwed with was that you didn't claim anyone to have told you to go anywhere nor did you claim anyone directly stopped you in any way. Rather from your writeup it sounded like I wasn't there - which agrees with me being protected rather than you being targeted. In the case of offering my own lynch tomorrow, Mafia cannot win with their own votes, even if they have a double voter. Ok, they could jump on a town vote; but really, if I convinced you all to vote Yvonne based on a cop verdict and then Yvonne was found to be town, would every townie not instantly lunge to eradicate me tomorrow? I'd say most likely.
  4. Just pointing out, if somebody was a jailkeep and targeted me, it's quite possible I wouldn't feel the negative effect on account of my character, while still being protected.
  5. That's actually pretty disappointing if you genuinely feel that way. I have been very passionate and exhaustive in arguing these points throughout the day because I know this will be the the turning point of the game. People may see that as aggression, but I assure you that this is not the case. Unless you really believe that every Mafioso was in on the lynch up until Rummy removed vote, I honestly don't see why the Mafia wouldn't have just drop bombed the lynch to push it through. It isn't as if Ganepark was jumped on for voting last yesterday. Given the amount of time and effort it has taken to accrue the amount of votes on this lynch relative to yesterday, I would have hoped most could see this as a constructive lynch worlds apart from yesterday's.
  6. I was protected by a third party. I'm also pretty confident that the Mafia failed their kill in trying to target me given what I said at the end of the previoius day. You know for a fact that you couldn't target me. You haven't revealed anything to suggest that another person redirected or roleblocked you. It would therefore dictate that I couldn't be reached, rather than there being something wrong with you, which at the very least counters Yvonne's claim to being able to validate Dedede. Yvonne shouldn't have been able to know a thing about me. I would be grateful if you reconsidered. I would urge all town members remaining to lynch me to kingdom come tomorrow if Yvonne was not Mafia. Mafia almost certainly can't win on their own tomorrow regardless of today and tonight's outcome, so remaining town could be free to remove me if they wished.
  7. I'll give you back my comments DuD, even though I can detect a really strong bias to your post rather than it being a neutral game summary. Hopefully this will be enough to convince the remainder of town to vote for Yvonne. I'll focus mainly on your opinions rather than your general overview. I don't see any rational basis for this comment if I'm being honest. I have already admitted that there was an attempt to send me to Dedede but I reached Yvonne regardless, which in my opinion hardly accounts to a direct clash with what he says he knows. Hopefully I can try put this to rest a bit better: To put it bluntly, if Jon is a power reflector then he will have failed to target me, as I was protected. If he was a tracker then equally he would have failed to target me. Jimbob specifically told me I was protected from all night actions last night due to protection from another as well as being a Spectre. So I'm left wondering quite how he would have known there was an attempted sending of me to him, which leads me to think the obvious. Second, Yvonne's reinforcement of Jon's statement actually further hurts Jon's statement about me not reaching Yvonne. As I pointed out before, there really is only a very small chance that Yvonne happened to have the right power and targeted the right person that night that would conveniently provide him an exonerating statement to use to use in retaliation the very instant Yvonne is accused of being Mafia. It's really not likely, so this post is really starting to tell me more about your angle. Yvonne backing up Jon's statement, certainly in my eyes, tells me all I need to know. In what capacity does this not add up? It only doesn't add up because you choose to view it that way. I have a lone 3 uses of alignment investigation (now 2). The other alignment investigator was similarly gimped in not obtaining the information directly. I actually commend Jimbob for spreading the ability and risk across characters - when town lose their alignment investigator they tend to be pretty screwed. And yet, the crumbling piece to that argument is that neither arguing side supports this - I state that I targeted Yvonne and was untargetable (Rummy could not target me to support this), while Yvonne argues I targeted Dedede. No one except you is claiming I could have roleblocked mr-paul. I'd also like to bring up previous points that you didn't address: - Why, when Yvonne was clearly accused by me that he shouldn't have been able to target me, did he not immediately point out that I was not his target? In fact, he quoted my post to say that I had valid comments, aside from commenting that it was right to call out Jimbob. - Why have you not also focused on Yvonne's quick change of heart yesterday from being reserved in holding back on a Cube vote, to rapidly placing a vote down on Aqui1a with zero justification? - I think we're one vote from majority. Don't you find it a little odd that the Mafia haven't jumped, and that it has taken the majority of the day to garner the required votes on Yvonne? Aqui1a was lynched on far less in a ridiculously less amount of time. I would appreciate the final vote on Yvonne to come. I would hope to most by now that the arguments I have presented are thorough enough to convince you.
  8. Heh, good to know people are listening. This lynch by comparison is taking much longer to achieve; the Mafia aren't pushing it through. @Jimbob when do you plan to end the day?
  9. Fair enough, I'm probably going over past comments but I will try to summarise my own reasons for voting Yvonne, and why I want you to vote for him: - I have a guilty verdict on him. Pretty self-explanatory. - No one has come forward to say they have evidence that I can't do what I've claimed to do - ie. no one has disputed my role, my protection against manipulation (more on this later) or even my character. Not really a huge plus point, but at least shows that no one should yet have huge reason to question the things I'm saying. - After accusing Yvonne of being Mafia with my verdict, Yvonne backs up Dedede as having the exact same information which coincidentally helps exonerate himself. Statistically speaking, it's unlikely he will have the exact role required to exonerate himself, as well as having targeted the exact right person that night. Not impossible, no, just really quite unlikely that the exact combination aligned in his favour, and not only that, the exonerating knowledge surfaced almost the moment after he was accused. Contrast this to me where my vote for Yvonne couldn't be construed as any sort of retaliation, and it was also likely from the way I spoke the previous day that I was actually going to target Yvonne. - At no point has Yvonne interjected to state he didn't target me, contrary to what was being understood. In fact at one point he quoted my post where I stated he was lying about having reached me saying they were valid arguments except for the correcting Jimbob. If I hadn't targeted someone who was untargetable and I was being accused of it as part of a prosecution, I would argue it. - Yvonne went from being quite reserved from voting Cube yesterday to voting Aqui1a with, let's admit, not very much evidence on him and he wasn't really inactive for that long. Not only this, the vote from Yvonne came in very, very quickly as part of what was almost certainly a lynch train, with absolutely no justification in the post, which to me seemed like someone in a rush to put a vote down. He apparently had no knowledge/suspicion that it was a lynch train up until the point in which Jimbob dropped the hammer, which I simply don't believe. - I know someone tried to send me to Dedede, but in the end I still got my verdict on Yvonne. This is literally all I can say on the matter as it's up to Jimbob what he chooses to put in people's writeups. I just know that as a Spectre I am able to bypass certain negative effects.
  10. I mean Peeps could be town, it's just that I don't particularly think I deserve the lack of faith that he's been showing to me, and he did take part in the lynch with his double vote (as did Cube, but he initiated which to me suggests he was less likely to be in on a speed lynch). I didn't approve of yesterday's lynch (yes, some Mafia don't vote deliberately to look innocent, but the behaviour of people who did lynch I think tells us a lot more). Yesterday my distrust of Yvonne was pretty clear, which led me to target him, which is why I have my verdict. I don't think the situation is all that difficult. Obviously in terms of double voters I don't want to piss off the 'non-Mafia one' as their vote will probably be crucial in securing Yvonne's lynch. We can all probably agree that both Cube and Peeps aren't both going to be Mafia for the sake of balance. So whichever one of you isn't, I would really appreciate the support on this lynch and guarantee that if Yvonne turned out not to be Mafia, the next day I will use size 7 for the sake of attention-grabbing to urge everyone to vote for me quicker than Usain Bolt with jet booster footwear.
  11. I targeted Yvonne, someone tried to send me to Dedede, but in the end I still got the alignment on Yvonne. Cube I'm saying that Peeps is probably Mafia too, but to vote for him today would split the vote. He's supporting Yvonne too which to me triggers alarm bells. Well, I would say it's likely that either you or Peeps is Mafia (something Peeps himself has said often hinself) and I hope it isn't you. Peeps, I would be frankly furious if you were town and haven't deduced that Yvonne isn't Mafia even without my result, as I know you're better than that, which is why I'm leaning to Cube being non-Mafia right now.
  12. I hope most people see this post quite as the sort of lukewarm support I've come to expect from the Mafia. Not outright support for Yvonne, which would be pretty suicidal for the Mafia to do, but certainly not against Yvonne. Take this together with Peeps having taken part in the speed lynch as well as him having a double vote and it's fairly unsurprising which side he's falling on. Anyway like I said, I will happily vote myself and urge everyone to vote for me tomorrow and not anyone else if Yvonne wasn't Mafia today. Yvonne is Mafia, I know this, and what Yvonne was saying about Jon Dedede was revealed funnily enough the second Yvonne was accused of being Mafia himself. This to me is clearly self-preservation and I don't believe it for a second. @Cube as you are a double voter you must realise it's probably unlikely both you and Peeps are Mafia. And Peeps is anti-Yvonne lynch.
  13. Sure, I respect that and hope you vote before day end. If the Mafia have 4 votes (I'm assuming balance would be 3 Mafiosos and 1 is a double voter) then even if they lynched someone today and killed tonight they still can't win tomorrow with their own votes. If Yvonne wasn't Mafia I would happily vote myself at the start of the next day. And you could keep me to that.
  14. Thanks. There hasn't been a swift jump to lynch Yvonne despite it being later in the game and being easier to gain majority than when Aqui1a was lynched, so that's saying something. @DuD I don't see any reason to suspect Rummy, at least definitely not over Yvonne who I know is clearly lying about reaching me (thanks again to Rummy).
  15. I don't know how @Jon Dedede got some info saying I was waiting for him (I doubt he targeted me since I was in untargetable), but I can confirm that whatever happened I reached Yvonne. It could be as a result of whatever made Jon unreachable. You have to admit though, Yvonne also being an apparent town tracker then saying outright once the pressure is on him 'yeah, I can confirm this' to try deflect blame is just rubbish. For now I would be less inclined to go for Cube just because his double vote on Aqui1a initiated the lynch train yesterday. In my experience, particularly so early on in the game, a couple of non Mafia votes need to be down before Mafia have the guts to jump on board, since they know they can't force a lynch by themselves.
  16. That would be a wise decision. So far he claims to be a tracker - if so then that's 2 town trackers (him and Dedede) which seems very unlikely. Also his targets are himself on N1, and last night apparently me (note Rummy said I was untargetable). It's a pile of lies.
  17. @Mr\-Paul and @Rummy I would appreciate some more conversation from you guys to ring home the basic points here, lest town should be duped into voting the wrong guy.
  18. If you're going to vote for me then you haven't looked at the evidence against Yvonne and the fact he's played suspicious as fuck the whole game. I'm not saying both Jon and I can't both be telling the truth (someone did try to send me to Jon but failed). I am not calling for Dedede's lynch either so really the choice is between believing and voting for either me or Yvonne. Rummy's post clearly contradicts Yvonne's as Rummy correctly pointed out that I was protected, so there is no way that Yvonne could have tracked me. Obviously not true, but even if it were you could easily twist it around and say that in such case, you would obviously make an effort to not appear remorseful.
  19. Really? You, Yvonne, who let's face it is a pretty good Mafia player had absolutely no idea, not even enough to express potential feelings of remorse, that Aqui1a's blisteringly swift lynch was perhaps the tiniest bit illegitimate. Wow. I'm astounded. Anyway, Yvonne would probably love to draw this out to several pages so nobody reads it so I'm heading off for the night now. If Rummy can elaborate on this is be grateful, as I have a feeling that if you keep your vote on me the Mafia could well jump tomorrow.
  20. So where was the "Oh damn that was a speed lynch, but for the sake of game integrity let's ensure the votes are tallied properly" comment? Let's not bullshit here Yvonne. Your vote on Aqui1a was a swift deed with no elaboration. You showed no real remorse once it was pretty damn obvious that you had contributed to a lynch train, up to and including ensuring Jimbob correctly counted votes. There is a right way of playing the concerned townie who's helping the GM for the good of the game and then there's what you did. Also @Rummy note that in Yvonne's last line he still insists that he knows about my actions despite him saying he's a tracker and despite you finding me untargetable. I think the Mafia have 4 votes given they almost certainly have a double vote, and I'd imagine by tomorrow if they're all online they will try lynch me.
  21. Of course you did Yvonne. So to sum up, the case I present before I go to bed: - Guilty verdict on Yvonne. - Yvonne speed lynched Aqui1a within almost no time of a few votes being placed on him, and provided no justification until the lynch was confirmed (almost certainly speed reasons) - Yvonne taking that extra bit of effort to remind Jimbob that, naturally, Aqui1a was lynched, despite it being totally evident by that point that a lynch train has occurred. Likely vested interests. @Mr\-Paul especially, even you could see this was a lynch train. - And the cherry on the cake - Yvonne can apparently confirm I targeted someone despite Rummy's confirmation that I could not be targeted. He is a liar and that is his undoing.
  22. I agree. In a small game it's unlikely there would be two trackers and given my result I know the townie isn't Yvonne. I very much doubt Yvonne is a tracker. I was told that someone tried to send me to you but this has no effect on me as I am a Spectre. Ergo, I reached Yvonne. If anyone else would like to claim to be Ashley, please go ahead. I initially interpreted this as the Mafia trying to send me to you for some reason, but I concede you could be town. @Yvonne who did you track on N1?
  23. Very weak. Can we remain focused on last night's lynch train - Yvonne and Peeps lay votes down as soon as Cube had a two-voter slapped down on Aqui1a. They did this very quickly, Yvonne didn't even explain.
  24. Obviously if you look at the Aqui1a lynchtrain last night, Peeps is another quite likely Mafioso.
  25. Funnily enough you tried to intercept me but failed. I'm guessing you know nothing about that, right? I'm Ashley by the way. Good call mr-paul, but we know we're dealing with a gullible town who likely will add a couple of votes to a strong Mafia lynch train. It would help to add strength to this. Note the lack of jumping at my vote- not at all what happened with Aqui1a!
