The Village (2004) I ruined the movie for myself because i already knew about some plot twist. Other than that, i dont understand why Shyamalan movies get so much hate. They Live (1988) Production value seems to be less then what i spend anually on tampons, but its a bit of a cult classic. The movie features a lot of images i've seen many times before, but i never knew what the source was. This movie is that source. Doctor Strange (2016) Pff, visually its was pretty cool, but its also the strong point of the movie. Acting/story should be a movie's strong point, but ok. I was done with the Marvel Cinematic Universe a couple of movies ago, yet i still keep checking them.

I got that rocker Pikachu, i just love the crappy guitar sound when he enters the battlefield. But about those special uber pokémons available trough these codes... im not supposed to use such a pokémon in game, right? I mean they start of at lvl 100. Wouldnt they just 1 hit the entire pokédex and take all the challenge out of the game?

If they just make a Pokémon Switch large game [like all previous regions/pokémon + a new region/new pokémon], and include an online feature, excrements will most likely end up on some sort of fan type device. In a positive way. Ffs, im not even interested in the Switch at this point, but a Pokémon game like that would sell the system for me.

Metroid is one of the few Nintendo titles that could appeal to people who dislike the happy colours and childish theme's. So, like Ashley said, it would be really weird if they didnt come with a Switch Metroid. Then again, WiiU didnt have its own Metroid game, right?

When you look back at original [now maybe rare] 80's/90's hardware/software, some of it is worth quite some money now. Do any of the people who keep everything and basically have a collection have this in mind for, idk, maybe their future generation? That GC version of Wind Waker + Master Quest and some other things, i once had that one. Not sure but last i checked its worth more then regular retail price. And thats a GC game, so not even really ancient...

When we have all this epic technology, why is Shovel Knight even a thing? Why is Minecraft so popular? Why wont World of Warcraft ever die? NES Classic mini, retro gaming, entire youtube channels dedicated to retro gaming.

Ok, im just going to take this. I dont really have sources to counter this anyway, not interested in googling that. Nintendo has invented home console gaming. Maybe they, trough the decades, fell behind on the hardware department. But if you see through the kiddy theme's and happy colours, you get the most solid gameplay the entire industry has to offer. I think 4K/HDR gaming, mostly based on graphics, is one day going to fail. Not be satisfying enough for the gamer. But this is only based on personal future thoughts. Gaming is still centered around the word "game", wich is shit like kicking a ball in the yard. Who cares if the ball is worn and torn. As long as it provides fun you call it a game.

Not yet, but if they follow Sony/Microsoft's path, then yes. I dont want a 4K zelda or mario every year with slight graphical updates. Let Nintendo be Nintendo. I often read comments like "Nintendo never learns". Because they dont deliver on hardware/high end graphics. It has kept them alive as a company for over 30 years.

Yeah i should stay out of this discussion for real in stead of just saying i should stay out of this discussion. Edit: Nintendo is over 30 years old, not 2 quarters. Edit 2, the Final Edit: starting posts with "you realise", "you think that", "you -insert content-", is really aggressive. I keep coming back to this discussion because people have interesting things to say without trying to put words in my mouth. True, but thats not the issue here. Companies do make money, more then enough. Im the kind of person who frowns upon the following: Company X makes a profit of 400 million in 2012. So pure profit. In 2013, company X makes 350 million dollars profit. So pure profit. Yet company x feels like cutting cost and firing lifelong employee's because they cost too much compared to younger staff. Only because 50 million less in PROFIT was made.

Whut? Isnt it about making enjoyable games for people to enjoy them? Im not sitting on the chair of Sony's CEO, so what do i care about stuff like that? If its just about making money and consumers accept that, then gaming is a dying thing.

Huge expenditure? I have no idea about actual cost, but that price [to create the network] is a 1 time thing. Because maintenance isnt the money sucker. One time investment versus possible years of pure income.

The kid is going to have to go to a gamestore or whatever where they sell tickets that Nintendo accepts in order to charge the account [runescape days... Wally card things?]. If bought online the monies to charge the online play account needs to come from... an online pay account / bank thing / idk how. So either Richy Rich is going to play Mario Kart Online, or the parents supervise stuff. I mean, young kids only have money because their parents sometimes give them money, right?

When thinking old fashion mobile phones: prepaid? Only pay when you use the service based on a certain amount of charged "credit" [minutes/sms/MB/hours of possible online gameplay?]
