    With our Sky Glass previously non-functional I have been making the most of the Funimation subscription. I finished the second season of Promised Neverland, which really glossed over what I discovered was the ending of the manga (which apparently fans of the manga weren't fans about, but I could only really see one portion which would annoy them the most). With what I think was about 5 or so years of pivotal events condensed into about 10 stills. They could have easily made another season going over this.

    Blasted through season 3 of Dr Stone, which felt faster paced than previous seasons, but I think that's because I watched it so quickly. Annoying that they're holding off on the last episode until October. Not a mid-season split that seems to be the thing nowadays, Just one episode.

    Seeing what movies were on the app, I came across Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions. It's what you'd expect from another Yu-Gi-Oh movie, but the motives of people are all over the map. Still, it's got me playing that free game on Switch.

    Trying to focus on Demon Slayer now, I started it at the same time as My Hero Academia, but I don't think I could juggle two 6 season animes at the same time, so will come back to the weird X-Men later.

    I also recommend Ōoku: The Inner Chambers on the Netflix. It's not my usual watch, but it's quite interesting. Be warned though, the first episode starts in the more-so-present, and everything after that is like a prologue/flashback, which was quite jarring to begin with.

    Update: I tried playing the beginning of the DX version and the slow-ish text started to put me off. So fired up the Switch version, one of the main reasons was to go through Angler's Tunnel sober. As I last did it after a night out on muscle memory alone. I only remember beating the Angler Fish. But I managed it this time and finished it over the weekend. I get the feeling that part of the hit detection on some wasn't all that great. Main example was against the Armos Knight on the way to the Face Shrine, it was giving you arrows in the room before, so obviously they're needed, and not being able to hit from the front = arrows from behind. Didn't work so searched for the FAQ, and I was doing it right and I offloaded so many arrows, point blank straight up the anus and it bounced off. But going from a weird angle where you think the hit box wouldn't count = damage. 

     

    Not Switch Online, but fuck it.

    Looking at the comparison, it feels weird that I felt really proud about the first set. Probably because it was my first tattoo and it did look a little better. With a lack of outline the red/oranges/yellows blended into a mess. Hopefully now it'll get a bit more recognition!

    I'm gonna flip reverse it if I do play these, as I always played Ages first. Last time wasn't too long ago on the eShop versions, and I couldn't understand if it linked correctly, because apparently there was meant to be a Zora in the Hero's Cave, which was meant to be bigger, but it was the normal puzzle size and no Zora. I get the feeling I probably fucked up somewhere.

    The weird thing is, for some random reason I'm still feeling a pull to redo Link's Awakening, and not the Switch version. I think looking at sheet music for it is bring the urge.

    @WackerJr - if it helps grease the wheels for the Aussie one, there's only one task that is repeated from the British/US series (the art heist one, which is a little different and the lasers move!). They all do their tasks in red tracksuits like they're The Six Million Dollar Man, and there's even a psychic on the team!

    I only remember her because I remember her being such a greedy bitch when she could've won straight away, and saying she deserves it because she was there from the beginning. Trying that "I saw it first" bullshit makes me want no one to win out of spite!

    Have to say after the first two episodes I'm a little disappointed as neither have really stood up to any of the previous episodes and series. First was OK, but I found the second could have been a run of the mill horror film. I don't know if it's because of the shift to it being a Netflix show but I haven't really enjoyed them. They don't feel like the old episodes which you could see as being set in their own world and connected. So far, and especially the second episode, they just feel like they are set in this world (doesn't help that Netflix cram in their name or as in ep 1 a streaming service that is pretty much just them). I'll give the rest a go to see if any are better. Just glad I don't subscribe to watch these.

    If any episode needed to be feature length, it should not have been this one. Events were spread out over tedious bullshit, and although the seduction was predictable from the start, the final act I wasn't truly expecting until the last minute. I thought the inclusion of lil Culkin as the terrorist was going to have a more decent impact, like Josh Harnett was going to borrow his friends body for either a Taken style rampage to avenge his family/stop an extremist group, or the group would find his friend and he'll have to do a violent Home Alone and fuck them up. Instead we were treated to a dude painting a house. Ah'mazin.

      Mazey Day (Reveal hidden contents)

    A nice reminder that the paparazzi are fuckers. When they found the lass in bed I thought I was going to have a seizure with all that snapping. But that final twist... it was so out there it bordered on silly, but it pulled it off with a standard diner in the middle of nowhere shootout. Another silly moment how a cop can pull off a few nice decent shots and have no effect and dies, lead lady fires once and incapacitates the enemy

      Demon 79 (Reveal hidden contents)

    This reminded me a little of the monkey paw episode of Inside No. 9, and due to the outside nature to me (being in the 70s), it felt a bit more mystical and nice to end on a season which has moved away from people messing around in virtual spaces

    And have now been sucked in by Battlebots, which is what Robot Wars used to be before they stretched out 3 battles over an hour

    It kinda is. I'm about 4-5 episodes in, and the challenges are completely different to the UK and it's piss poor clone US remix. So a huge improvement and worth watching. This time they compete for "bars of SoLiD sIlVeR", and for some reason the producers appear to be of the mindset that legal minds are best. About a third of them have law related jobs... Does it have any benefit? Watch and find out.

    I've also watched the UK one and finished it last night. I'm sorry but I thought that the guy Wilf brought in is a complete tosser. To do that to Wilf was really bad sportsmanship. Amanda and Alyssa(?) understood that that was the game but that guy (I can't remember his name) really annoyed me doing that. It's the equivalent of someone tipping the board when they lose at Monopoly. Ver childish. I think Wilf would've won it as well was it not for "and my parting gift"...Wilf did great as a Traitor!

     

    I don't know about the second season, but winner deserved of first? Hell naw.

    Ok, I shall admit I have hit.some difficulty. Did Poké Ball and Great Ball of Prime Cup with barely any difficulty. Had only 1-2 Pokémon faint in 16 matches.

    Then went for the Petit Cup, mama Mia. Had to use one continue on one match and blasted through 5 more in the final. Luckily I did make a save state beforehand and went back for another round. But I did it!

    But I do start to see some of the issues people may have been mentioning...
