This will be my first Fallout game. I have purposely avoided all trailers to try and go into the series as fresh as possible. All I really know about it is it is basically Skyrim with guns set in a post-apocalyptic future. I've only heard good things about the franchise - to those people who have played Fallout 3 and New Vegas, what would you say are the biggest flaws/criticisms of the series? Not trying to be negative or anything, just want to temper my expectations.

The new Trials matchmaking seems to be working for the most part. We were regularly stomping the first team we played, but would become stuck at around the 5 wins mark. I think our tactics were off for the most part. Looking back, I spent far too much time sitting back and sniping, just because that was what so many other teams were doing. Too often we were out-killing the other team, but they were getting their revives off and we weren't. Hopefully this week we will have a less sniper-friendly map so we can be more aggressive. Despite not getting to the Lighthouse, I really enjoyed Trials this weekend because we had a lot of really tight matches. This one was particularly epic: Clutch play by @Shorty at 6:30.

That should be fine with me. May bring my Hunter instead for the chance of extra loot, but can switch back to my Titan if we're struggling. Warpriest and Golgoroth are definitely doable, Oryx not so much. I think the group needs to all be around 310 light to have a reasonable chance.

Saturday is fine for me as well.

I'll be around tomorrow and Saturday for Hard Mode, I could join up with you and anyone else on here who fancies it? Fewer people from LFG the better.

Never realised it was out so soon... really tempted to pre-order, but the sensible thing may be to wait a few weeks until I can find a cheap Xbone bundle.

I'll take one of those spots too if they're still going. Would be good to get two of my characters geared up for Hard Mode.

I can probably join in with Raiding on Sunday, but I need to level up my 3rd character first. Already done the Raid twice this week so I'm not too fussed, but I'm happy to join in to make up the numbers. Put me down as a reserve for this group. Also, I realise a lot of us have alts that are 300+... would people who are available Friday or Saturday also be willing to do a Hard Mode Raid on Friday/Saturday with another character?

Tomorrow night will be tricky for me, I won't get back home til late as I'm presenting at a work event.

I've had a lot of fun over the last few weeks trying new guns out in Crucible. Made me realise how long I've used the same 3/4 guns. Something that slipped under my radar, the Titan gloves 'No Backup Plans' got a buff. It now grants Force Barrier on Shotgun kills, as well as increasing the duration. This actually makes the Defender somewhat viable in 6v6. Maybe I'll try out Defender on IB tonight! Sounds good, sign me up!

I may be interested in rejoining if there was a reset, although as of right now I'm just a bit fatigued by it all. As you say, I think giving it 2 or 3 seasons' notice before a reset may be a good idea. I think I'm in the same boat as you, I was against a reset when it was last proposed since my team were really starting to blossom. And yes, it is a huge deal to lose all of that progress, history, etc that you spent a lot of time working at. So I wouldn't blame anyone for being against a reset if they wanted to carry on with their existing team, I wouldn't want to force it on anyone.

Sign me up for the Raid on Tuesday! Iron Banner is also starting on Tuesday, so hopefully we can fly through the Raid and have enough time for some IB as a 6-man fireteam.

In addition to what Sheikah said, there are 3 quests that offer 310 Exotic weapons as rewards: -Exotic Swords - to unlock this quest I believe you need to fully level your legendary sword and infuse it to 280+ attack. Once you finish the quest chain, you receive a 310 Exotic sword. These are well worth getting, they do absurd amounts of damage and are extremely fun to use -The Black Spindle - an Exotic sniper rifle, currently dropping at 310 for now, but due to be nerfed to 290 at some point in the future. You need to wait for 'Lost to Light' to be the Daily Heroic Story mission and complete a secret quest during the mission (this is very tough and will require a 3 man fireteam to complete) -Touch of Malice - this is a 310 Exotic scout rifle that drops after completing a very long chain of quests, part of which includes beating the Raid Would highly recommend you doing the Raid, Rummy. It is the best content the game has to offer.

Missed out this week as well, so would love to get involved in another Raid with everyone.

I still need the Black Spindle! I'll try to be home from work just after 5.

I'm away on Friday and Saturday, but willing to support any other days this week if you need a sub. Also willing to help out in a 2nd Raid group for those who haven't done it before. I realise some of you want to do it blind however, so if you choose to have me I can keep quiet and not spoil anything.

I'll be on this afternoon. I've got a couple of Antiquated Runes but no Stolen ones, so I will need to grind some Tier 1 bosses first.

Any chance we could do a bit earlier? I may have to drop off at 8 as I think my brother is inviting people round to watch the Rugby. If we haven't done it by then, @ReZourceman can take my spot if he's about.
