  1. I doubt the game will make you ride the entire length of hyrule field for one dungeon, etc.

45 minutes from one to one side, and a horse riding at about 20 km/h would mean a diameter of 15 km of Hyrule Field (2x Wind Waker ocean) and a surface area of about a 175 square kilometres... I don't believe that for one second really. That's way too big.

There will probably be things that you have to go around to get from one side to another, which could take up a bit of time. I doubt it will be just an empty field with a clear cut path.

  2. IGN

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

    Developer: Nintendo

    Publisher: Nintendo

    Release Date: November 2006

    Genre: Adventure

What to expect: The single greatest videogame of all time? Did we oversell it a bit? Really, we may not be kidding. At the very least, Twilight Princess is sure to be the best launch game in the history of launch games, but we're willing to bet it'll go down as much more than that. The title is the result of a massive effort by the proven Zelda team at Nintendo, which has in the past created some of today's most fondly remembered titles, from Ocarina of Time to Wind Waker. Twilight Princess will not only be bigger - a horse ride from one side of Hyrule to the next is rumored to take 45 real minutes - but much more ambitious than ever before. Link turns into a wolf, crossed into a dark dimension, goes fishing, and rides his way into more dungeons than ever - and he's just getting started. Truth be told, we've glimpsed scenarios that have made our jaws drop and Nintendo itself has indicated that we haven't seen anything yet. The final product is going to be nothing short of epic and with both a Wii-exclusive 16:9 mode and new Wii-mote-enhanced controls - the ability to shoot arrows and slash the sword - the game is on track to become an instant classic when it launches with Wii.

Not sure where abouts on IGN Dante got this. You would have to ask him.

  3. Also, would like in TP that it's alot more important to buy stuff and saving up rupees...

I've never liked how you've always been having like 2000000 rupees and never had to buy anything or use them... It became boring to collect rupees and the only reason you would do it, was in MM where you would get some rewards from that bank guy in Clock town, when you had special amounts of rupees.

This time (it's probably been said alot of times in this forum but anyway), money should be alot harder to gain, and you would really have to work to get some rupees. And you'd really have to need them for new equipment and stuff like arrows, bombs, potions, bottles and so on.... you won't always get arrows by smashing rocks or breaking jars, you'd have to buy them and really save them for later. Not just shoot all your arrows away, find the nearest bush or grass to cut and get 10 new arrows, I mean... that's not very realistic... :blank:

You'd need to find the right vendor to get the right stuff, go earn money by doing some work for people, or maybe by collecting some kinds of bounties, and save up money for cool equipment... Now that would be neat :(

They have been saying in an interview not too long ago, that you'd really have to go find the right vendor to brag, because some people will demand more rupees for cheaper stuff... that I like :yay:

So, alot more items to collect and alot more shopping

I really hope TP will be improved at that point... It would really make it so much cooler...!

That is kind of escaping the the main point of the game but I really hope it happens. It would be cool if you could get a job in a shop, haggling with poeple and trying to sell them stuff.

Hurassing dogs? Hell i'd buy the game just for that.

    LMAO

  4. I didnt say Metroid Prime games are FPS games...

And no i dont admit it was a whole lot better

I just think, Metroid games dont need a Multiplayer, any effort made into a Multiplayer game, makes the Single Player a bit less great.

Adding a Multiplayer game into Prime 3 would simply be an after thought.

Sorry, must have mieread your post.

Anyway, I think they will finish single player off before they decide to put in a multiplayer. It's not been confirmed yet so, I doubt they would rush the last bits of the game to get started on multiplayer, if they make it.
