  1. Done English lit this morning, and ICT this afternoon

English lit went really well :awesome: I'm really pleased with how I done and feel the revision really paid off.

ICT was okay, although a lot harder than any past papers of it I've done, majority of my friends found it really difficult.

PEM exam tommorow and then 12 day break woo.

  2. Is the Lit paper about the novel? In my case the Crucible?

See i never read that <shit!>

Haha gutted. Yes, I think the first hour you do an essay on the novel, and then second hour on the poems.

I've been reading my novel [To Kill A Mockingbird] this week, didn't think I'd finish it but I did this morning thank god.

    Good luck Tobes;)

  3. According to Cubed 3 http://www.cubed3.com/news/5251

a finalised list has emerged from Nintendo

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

    Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

    Wii Sports

    Red Steel

    Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam

    Madden NFL 2007

Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors

    Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz

    Metal Slug Anthology

    Trauma Centre: Second Opinion

    Elebits

    Marvel: Ultimate Alliance

    Blitz: The League

    Rayman Raving Rabbids

SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab

    Disney/Pixar's Cars

    !

Thats a fantastic line up, and surely more we'll be added closer to the time e.g. Fifa.

Very suprised Dragon Quest is making US launch, and Madden is a great launch title to have(Madden sells like Crazy in the US)

I was hoping Wii Sports would come packaged with the Wii but ah well, hopefully we'll get Wii Music [Orchestra/Drumming]

EDIT: Sorry I only just saw Owen had posted about this in the 'What will you buy at Launch?' thread but I feel there isn't too much trouble in keeping this here as it could of gone unnoticed being in there.

  4. Dragonball Z Budokai (sold it a few days later)

I skipped it when it came out because of the bad/average reviews it got, but being the massive DBZ fan I am I got around to buying it about a year later when I saw it cheap at play.com. Really didn't enjoy it, if anything it took away some of my enthusiasm for DBZ!

  5. As i never had an Xbox and Halo 1+2, when I got a 360 a few months later I bought the Halo Triple Pack [Combat Evolved+Halo 2+Multiplayer Map Pack] and am currently working my way through Combat Evolved, nearly finished. I haven't been playing like loads each week but rather come back to it every so often(like I do with a lot of games) thus why I haven't finished it yet. Once I have i'll play through Halo 2 and then Live till Halo 3 comes  smooth.

  6. So who's looking forward to good ol English lit in the morning? ;):hmm:

I was worried but am confident now as i've got round to doing a bit of revision for it, but I just know when I wake up in the morning i'll be nervous again.

  7. Okay me and Diemetrix decided we'd merge the Halo 3 discussion thread with the Halo 2 Xbox live thread into one stickied thread for all talk about the Halo series in general.

Whether you want to talk about Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo on Xbox Live or Halo 3 do it all here

  8. Totally off topic here but Im curious Stocka if you could have Shenmue 3 or Skies 2 which would it be?

:heh: I think the message is clear how much I dream for both :awesome:

Ummm... Shenmue III simply because of the way the story is left unfinished and with so many unanswered questions.

  9. Shenmue II

This is actually my favourite ever moment probably.

    GIF_shenmue_rooftop_fight2.gif

After AGES of working your way up to the top of the Yellowhead bldg with Ren(and meeting Joy on the way), you finally get to the roof. You see Yuandu Zhu and Zong being held captured by Dou Noi, who you then fight for the HARDEST fight of the game. It takes a while to beat him and then you finally do and you get superb satisfaction.

Ryo then looks up to the Helicopter to see Lan Di( ) staring directly into his eyes, to which they both stare with wonder and hatred. What makes this so special is the fact that you haven't seen Lan Di since the very start of Shenmue, and after hours and hours (probably over 100) of journeying in Shenmue I and II you finally see him, it made me go all cold inside!

Suppose i've said a bit much lol :awesome: Well I'm a bit of a Shenmue lover.

  10. Sorry if this has been mentioned! But anyone looking forward to 'RockStars Table Tennis' this week?

£24.99 for a game which supposadely is meant to be VERY good on and offline!

Quite looking forward to it! Should have it thursday hopefully! :)

Nope. I'd rather play the ping pong mini game on Wii that'll probably come in the Wii Sports package.

Anyone seen the Huzley extended trailer at Gametrailers? I'm really excited about it.

  11. Wicker Park

Extraordinary psychological thriller that starts off slow and is difficult to understand whats going on, but it all comes together in the end. Fails to entertain although it does capture you into wanting to find out the truth. But meh, yet another nothing special film. I'm a bit harsh on films but thats just me...

  13. Yeah okay use spoilers from now on guys.

Halfway through fighting the Shadow Queen at the end of the game, the sequence where all the friends you've met on the journey send their good luck as power, and the crystal stars music plays. As annoying as it got having to watch it over and over again as it took me quite a few goes to complete the boss, it was always a warm feeling.
