  1. Hey all. I've never played Halo before (well, around a friends house for 5 minutes) and have always wanted to get into it (never had an Xbox) but I now have a 360, and have just recieved my Halo Triple Pack from Play.com

    [Halo:Combat Evolved + Halo 2 + Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack = £17.99....incredible bargain  ]

I'll be starting Halo for the first time after I've posted this (ooh soo exciting :yay: )

I'll be playing through CE first, then go onto Halo 2 + playing on Live.

I've got Live but I have a problem. It doesn't let me play with friends because of a router problem, the 'NAT' is 'strict.'

I told my dad about it and we can't get a new router because its configured for his or something and uses connection from workplace in london blah blah so and so. But he said he is going to get a new internet connection for me. Dunno when though.

  2. Whats with all the Kameo hate?

Its starts off pretty crap but as you get like 5/6 hours into it you realise what a great game it is.

And am I the only person that absolutely loves the start up to Kameo with the Rare logo and the cinema like music. Lovely start up.

  3. Well okay there might be the odd good looking faces of players in replays and such but when you're actually playing normally it doesn't look marginally different. Then again...I suppose football games have always looked so realistic this gen, so they couldn't ever look a lot better, but still...its obvious it was rushed.

  4. I've never loved PDZ. I am enjoying it and I think it is a good game, but not amazing.

The AI is a bit disappointing imo, and the story makes no sense whatsoever, but still the solo player is pretty fun.

Online...well I haven't played with any friends yet(Router problems, NAT 'strict') but from what I've played online, its pretty good but doesn't come close to CSS personally. CSS is my online FPS bitch.

Kameo is by far the best game so far for me(although I only have two:heh: )

Oh and the Fifa 06 demo....what a joke. :woops:

  5. Hmm Digitalspy forumers said it was and im pretty sure the advert said it was but im loosing my mind. Ill look into it. Did you check ITV1 by any chance, cause it should be ITV2.

Ah... you said 'ITV' so I assumed it was just 1, looking at 2 it seems it is on, and therefore I have set it to record

Thanks for letting me know Ashley, I look forward to it icon14.gif

  6. I use to struggle sleeping at night due to finding it difficult to get comfortable or because of the temperature, but recently I'm sleeping incredible. I fall asleep pretty much as soon as my head hits the pillow. Also every night this week I've had a strange dream, although the majority have been good.

Hmm.. I suppose theres just something about January that makes you sleep better. Or maybe its just me...

Well to make this thread into discussion instead of me ranting about my nights...

    How well do you sleep?

What time do you go to bed?

Anything else to do with sleep...?

  7. Resident Evil DS Producer Working on Nintendo Revolution Project

    by Shawn White (01/17/06)

Speaking with Jeux-France, Minoru Nakai, producer for the Resident Evil remake on the Nintendo DS, revealed that he is involved in a project for Nintendo's next-generation console, code-named the Nintendo Revolution.

Nakai let slip that he is interested in the Revolution's controller, and even though he thinks its functionality could provide a nice evolution to the Resident Evil series, the current Revolution project is not a new title in the franchise (note: rough translations provided).

"Even if the playability of Resident Evil 4 thus remains very led to my taste, we would clearly like to use the potential of the [Revolution controller], because the players could end up wearying themselves of this style of gameplay," Nakai explained.

However, the producer cautioned that "it would be perhaps more judicious to develop a game other than Resident Evil on Nintendo Revolution, before attacking this series, and this, to familiarize myself more with this new concept, in order to better benefit from the potential of the [controller] thereafter. We [are working] there in this moment..."

Despite any sales success Resident Evil 4 enjoyed on the Nintendo GameCube, Capcom has yet to announce the game's next-generation sequel for Revolution, confirming it only for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. However, given Nakai's words, there seems to be a possibility that Nintendo's next console might receive a Resident Evil title, perhaps one that is tailored exclusively to the Revolution's controller.

    Dodgy translation.

If REDS turns out decent then this could be something to look forward to.
