And that's any use of the Gen 1 VC games shattered! The one thing I wanted from VC Pokemon Yellow! THE ONE THING! I also heard that there really is no in-game National Pokedex for S/M? How hard is it to just copy/paste some text from previous games? I just want all the Pokemon models to be viewable in one easy to get to place. God send if you draw Pokemon as much as I do!

Expected, but now the only use I can think of for European Gen 1 games is getting a Machamp with Fissure. And I totally plan on doing that. We'll see how the battle tree likes it when my one hit KO moves hit all the bloody time!

Yep, using those 4 games, it's possible to get all the Pokemon. That's the easiest way to do it. You do need access to all 4 games though. The cover legendaries only appear in their respective games, and most people aren't going to trade them for a Trubbish.

Geez, you wait for a proper Battle Mode and then five come along at once! Coin Runners and Shine Thief seem to be making a return along with some new mode involving Piranha Plants. There's also going to be at least one new Amiibo costume for the Miis. It's a Splatoon based one.

It's amazing how much of a Juggernaut this series has become over in the west. It's basically had 2 massive surges over here. The "Who the hell are these blokes?" moment in Smash Bros. Melee and Fire Emblem: Awakening literally stopping the series from perma-death!

Nicked from GAF. It does focus on the positive changes though, so it's not everything. Here's a visual comparison. The 3DS European version has a Midi soundtrack, I'm not sure if that differs from the original PS2 version, which I think had an orchestrated soundtrack. I might be wrong about this though.
