How about old-school Metroid style games? Because if so, I highly recommend Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, assuming you've not played it on another console. (Currently on sale as well) In other news, on Monday. Ninty filed a trademark for a number of things including a certain Super Smash Bros. Just recently, someone noticed something about the (Japanese) logo they filed. Not sure if hyped yet...

You should treat your RotomDex better then. So @Serebii, I know you're probably ludicrously busy documenting US/UM and all, but something strange is going on with @Ugh first aid's game. Her RotomDex is always looking depressed. She taps it and it's back to normal, but then 5 minutes later, it's sad again. And we have no idea why. It's not happened once on my game, so it's really confusing.

So, I've noticed something interesting. I traded with my old Sun file. And afterwards, I activated Game Sync on Ultra Sun. Naturally, this causes my old Sun File shows up in the Festival Plaza. And that's when something weird happens. My Sun character is now wearing the exact same outfit as my Ultra Sun character. Which should be impossible, because the default bag is not in Sun. Which leads to my question... Does the game actually know that I traded with myself because both of my files are on the same Global Link account?

Right, I'm off to get my copy of Pokemon: Kanto Reference smorgasbord version. So I thought I'd share what @Ugh first aid and I are doing this go around. We're both doing a Gym Leader run. We had a random number generator decide a type (We excluded Dragon and Fairy, because they're OP) and we were only allowed to use Pokemon of that type for our playthrough. She got Psychic (I gave her a Drowzee Egg to start her off, because none of the starters are Psychic) and I got Grass. Dual types are allowed as long their final evolution has that type. (So she can use Pichu, because Alolan Raichu is Electric/Psychic) Naturally this ends up with a battle between us once we finish the game. No legendary Pokemon, obviously. So that's how we're spicing up the game. Thought it might be nice if other Sun/Moon veterans followed suit.

GP1 GP2 And here's the current table. No change in the placings, but there are a few interesting things I've noticed. Both @S.C.G and @Vileplume2000 managed to get their first Top 3 placing this week. meanwhile @Nicktendo, who has placed in the top 3 a total of 10 times now, has never come in second. Which is definitely strange. @S.C.G wins the "I didn't make a damn bit of difference to my score" award this week. Wahey! Good on you! Way to maintain the status quo! Next week's theme will be up later today when I'm not excruciatingly tired.

Before I post the results from last night, here are my highlights this week. Featuring @Nicktendo, @S.C.G and way too much focus on @Vileplume2000 @BowserBasher, You're not gonna believe who it was... Yeah, I think he deserves some sympathy this week...

Well, I'd be up for some Turf Wars. If others want to switch it up. At least that way, half of us will win.

I'm sure once we get a League Power, we'll be put with people more my skill level... Hopefully. I suppose it's not just N-Europe who struggle to get a team together. If we can't find a team, we can switch to Turf War/Salmon Run.
