Did a trainer seriously try to pull a FEAR on me!?

2 gyms down now. And I just need to gush about a Pokémon I just got. It's no. 311 in the Galar Dex, so don't click if you haven't seen it yet and want it to remain a surprise. The soundtrack is really experimental so far. I'm digging it! Shout out to the funky Gym Leader music that actually develops each time you knock out a Pokémon. Very cool.

Raid battles have potential to be quite fun if there happens to be tougher Pokémon later on. I should carry on though. I'll join in if I happen to notice anyone on my friend list start a raid, but it depends on if I'm in a battle/cutscene or not. So don't be offended if I miss it.

OK, so choose Link Battle, then Set Link Code. It acts like a password so random people can't trade with you. Tell me the code you chose and then wait on the overworld and the trade will start once I enter it. I'm in a max battle with @Ike so I'll join you once that's done.

OK, 4444 is too obvious of a code, loads of people are guessing it. So I'm making my trade card code 4129 instead.

Nah, it's cool. You need to get to the town after the wild area first. But the cool thing is that I can keep the search going while I play the game. So whenever anyone is ready with a card, they can just enter that code and when I'm not in a battle, it'll let me know.

Oh, BTW. If anyone wants to swap cards with me, use Y-Comm and set the link code to 4444. I kinda want to collect N-E's cards.

If you don't have two Switches, you'll need someone online to help you. I don't mind doing that if you want.

Yeah... We've already done that. Got all three starters. So no need to do that. If you're going to do multiple playthroughs. I recommend going to the options, setting Text Speed to fast, turning Battle effects off and turning on the option to skip movies. Helps save some time. If your brother isn't getting his Switch for a while, it might be better waiting until I can start breeding Pokémon. Trust me, it'll be quicker and you'll only have to restart twice.

Sorry, you can't trade with yourself unless you have 2 Switches. If you want, I can look after your starters while you restart the game. It takes a while, but it will let you have all three. You can easily use discord to tell me when you're ready for a trade. Oh, and @RedShell. I'm awake now, let me know when you can take your smelly, fat Pikachu.

Physical, defo. Sobble is special. Grookey is more defensive than the other two. It's also very telegraphed when you're about to choose. So don't worry there.

OK, so after messing with the trading. I think I can put together a step by step on how to trade in this game. 1. Progress through the story until you receive the Dynamax Band. 2. Open the Y-Comm by pressing Y. 3. Press + to connect to the internet. 4. Select "Link Trade" 5. In order to guarantee you trade with the right person, select "Set Link Code". Make sure both trainers know which code you're using. 6. Once both trainers have set the same code, wait on the overworld until the trade starts. That should be all you need. @RedShell I have your Pikachu, when you're ready to trade, give me a heads-up.
