Thank GOD it wasn't canned! Another "adult" title for the Rev then... Let's just hop Nintendo come to their right sences and release GTA and Gran Turismo killers, and Sony'll be ROADKILL!
-
Errr...dude... The Dreamcast was "better than PS2 in some areas". I think it was Textures... So it's quite possible that the Rev will be better in some small field of graphics...
-
Ummm... Didn't Nintendo claim that the Flash Memory is EXPANDABLE? If you can fit 512 Megs on a TransFlash Card: Then imagine what you can have on a much bigger Flash Card. Desides, I've never heard of a game that takes up 512 Megs of memorycard space! Except for PC, where it's done to reduce loading times, which according to Nintendo should be exceptionallt short anyhow!

Zelda delayed to Autumn and Rev confirmed for 2006

NOOOOOO!!! DAMMIT!!! Then I won't be able to get Zelda untill NEXT SUMMER, since I'm going to go through MILITARY EDUCATION between July of this year and June of next year! CRAP -
Maybe it's a portable batterypack? So u can play it on the go!
-
Yeah... I hope that Nintendo'll show a tech demo before E3.

He's still planning on making it! The thing is that the Shenmue games were the most expensivelly developed games EVER! And they were sold for the Dreamcast, so it sold badly. Shenmue Online is a cashcow, so he'll afford to make SMIII! Where can I find ingame screens of SMO? Just saw an FMV trailer. And by the way, what is happening on that trailer? Haven't seen any of it in the actual game!

You guys don't seem to be happy no matter what logos come up. I know that you expect the revolutionising Nintendo Revolution to have a revolutionising logo, but if Microsoft would have given the Xbox a typical name for Microsoft, it would've looked something like this:

I heard, when the Revo and Nintendo DS were first announced, that they weren't the replacers of the GC and GBA, but a completely different kind of product. There was talk that the actual replacer of the GBA would be released in 2007, and have power between the Dreamcast and Gamecube (aka PS2)...

Nintendo Office A bunch of programmes that enable you to write essays, diarys, and thereafter print it, so the revo replaces the PC! And allso a webbrowser... Should be bundled with a keyboard! Nintendo custom content maker An editor that enables you to mod any game any way you want... Replace the Link model in Zelda Collectors edition, for the Link model from Soul Calibur, or create your own car for Burnout 5! Easy editor, where you make 3D models like normal, but the textures are drawn on like in Top Gear Rally for the N64! And allso, drag and drop for dummies!
-
Hmmm... I'd want Nintendo to include characters from other companies... Like Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil, or Ryo Hazuki from Shenmue. I'd allso like it if Nintendo'd add a special mode that behaves like a regular fighter: You jump, like half a metre up at the most, and theres one button for kick, another for punch and a last for blocks... And of course, your damage drops when you get hurt, so you die once your health reaches 0...

Mmmm... I'd LOVE Shenmue III. The Revo controller would kick ass... Imagine klicking a flashing object on the screen, instead of tapping a button during QTE's. Or going into first person view and klicking on objects in your surroundings to interract with them instead of locking on to them like in the old SM games...

I've edited the top post... I don't want you to just write a game you want a follow up for... Write WHY!!! Like I did, and the dude who wrote abou iceclimbers...

Nintendo Power: Keep your eye on Reggie, February 9th
darkjak replied to Stocka's topic in Nintendo Gaming
True, allthough the first Halflife was in development for Dreamcast (canned at the very last second), and then released for the PS2, so a game for Rev isn't completely out of the question. However I just can't seem to understand why everybody's so crazy about Valve. I mean, the only big game from them I've heard of is the Halflife series, which, from my ponit of view isn't all that great. The only good thing about HL1 is the frigging moding, since the game itself is tedious, repetitive and confusing! -
Got any ideas for games you'd like to see? Write 'em here! *EDIT* Please ELABORATE. Don't just write "I want a followup to this game". Write WHY you want it, and why it'd be cool for the revo! My idea: Excitebike Revolution An ultrarealistic motorcycle game, that, unlike previous installments of the series, permits you to race both off and on road. Basically, you can race nearly any bike in existance, and you unlock and uppgrade your bikes in a Gran Turismo-ish money earning matter. To make the game fun, you don't race on real tracks, but in Need For Speed-ish paradises (OK, maybe a few realistic tracks). Like previous installments, it should permit you to make your own tracks, allthough in a more detailed manner, so you can throw in decorations next to the track... The thing that would make use of the revo controller is, that you , by leaning the controlle, allso lean the bike, meaning you have to learn to lean the bike in curves not to fall off, and make sure you don't lean so muck your knee scrapes the ground (OUCH!)...

Would be fun if we'd snag Halo 3 from Microsoft...
-
I think that the best thing would be if Nintendo would release EVERYTHING! A GTA-killer for the adults, an Excitebike game to challenge Sonys Gran Turismo Motorcycles (it's called sumtin' else, bu I don't remember), containing super-realistic physics and Graphics, plus a variety of real motorcycles on fictive tracks (I hate the dull GT tracks. I'd rather race in a regular town, with houses than concrete walls everywhere), and still keep making the games they've allways been making...

People are saying the GC is N's equivelant to Segas Saturn, and Rev is the equivelant to the Dreamcast. That's a load of bull, if you ask me! The GC sold. like 20 miljon copies, while the Saturn only did 9. The Dreamcast sold 8 milion. Nintendo's consoles haven't sold as badly as any of Segas. We allso must remember that Segas only real successive console was the MegaDrive, while Nintendo have had two consoles that were the best selling of their generations, and untill only a year ago, nearly complete monopoly on the handheld market... But in case the worst would happen, I think they'd focus on handhelds, and keep focusing on that untill they get whupped there too... After all, Nintendo stated that "when we go out of the console buisness, we get out of the games buisness too"...
-
I'd preffer a sort of game that's like mixed bag... Some 2D-levels like the old days, some Mario 64-ish, some with gizmos like in Mario Sunshine, and some racinglevels, like Mariokart, and LOTS of minigames. I think that the levels should pop up in large quantities, where each never takes more than 10 minutes to beat...
-
Ooops... My mistake.
-
In the interview MADCATZ said that they're making both skins and all new controllers. I hope they'll release a joistick and a wheel...
-
Well, they managed it somehow when they showed the revocontroller for the first time at ECTS...
-
Sonic is probbably getting a Rev-exklusive game. Too bad that no screens have been released of anything yet...
-
Dude, REVO fakes, not just any dumb fake you'll find...
