Meik Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Oh, blackest of foxes. What a pickle. Tools -> Options -> Edit Tab -> Tick the "Typing Replaces Selection" box.
Blackfox Posted November 9, 2006 Author Posted November 9, 2006 Thanks for that Meik85. Cheers to iPaul too, although it wasnt that problem, that one is sure annoying when it happens.
Mr_Odwin Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 get a mac and get pages (part of i work) Oh my goodness. Please stop telling everyone to get a Mac. It's really annoying.
McPhee Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 get a mac and get pages (part of i work) Pages does the same thing! Stop telling people to buy Macs! Yes they look nice, have a good user interface and less problems than Windows PCs but they have theyre own problems. Apple charge through the roof for Macs and theres the slight problem of not being able to get half the software (mainly games) you want/need if you own a Mac. For a quick price comparison: Apple Store - £1350 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 1GB RAM, 128MB NVidia 7300GT, 250GB Hard Drive Mesh Computers - £950 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, 256MB NVidia 7600GT, 320GB Hard Drive See any problem there? The inferior hardware in the Apple is £400 more... A more constructive suggestion would be: http://www.openoffice.org
Guest Jordan Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Not to mention you have to use OSX. The very idea makes Jordan cry at night.
