Smiter Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 I couldn't stop drooling all over those Wii games on the LCD TVs. They look so good. I think Nintendo UK did say we'd get a tour, but who knows when and where it'll be. I want Excite Truck, dammit.
Nintendork Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 This definitely is a thread, that's for sure. It's a retarded one too. Have you heard of Flickr? You can create gallerys with quick loading slideshows in a few minutes. Then everyone could enjoy the pictures. Here's an example: 1500 posters in one quick loading site. Do this in the future, kthxbye
Patch Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Awesome. ExciteTruck looks better every time I see it. lol at the guy pointing the remote at ExciteTruck instead of holding it like a steering wheel.
pedrocasilva Posted October 6, 2006 Author Posted October 6, 2006 This definitely is a thread, that's for sure. It's a retarded one too. Have you heard of Flickr? You can create gallerys with quick loading slideshows in a few minutes. Then everyone could enjoy the pictures. Sure, but there was a lot of images of that tour that didn't show up here, and I took the time to convert them into 640 width resolution, upload them and all... It's pretty simple to come here and bash it, and it's not cool (although you seem to think like that). Of course I know flicker, so what? am I obliged to use it? Also people don't necessarily follow links, thus when you click this thread you just know it'll load lots of images, that's why it has a 56K Warning, really. I like lot's of images. As for definitive: def‧i‧nite /ˈdɛfənɪt/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[def-uh-nit] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation–adjective 1. clearly defined or determined; not vague or general; fixed; precise; exact: a definite quantity; definite directions. 2. having fixed limits; bounded with precision: a definite area. 4. defining; limiting. There wasn't a Fusion Tour dedicated thread, and the Fusion Tour Images go here, that's why it's definite.
Smiter Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Please don't be such a troll, Nintendork. You make some good posts in other threads, but you're out of line on this one. You didn't need to be so rude. I voted for this thread because it's good to see all the Nintendo Fusion information in one place. Pedro did put in all that effort, and I enjoyed looking through all the pictures and videos. It's nice to see so many people are interested in the Wii.
Hellfire Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Shut up Nintendork, he went to a lot of trouble to show us stuff and you complain, just get your head out of your ass. Anyway, those lucky bastards, I wish I was there.
pedrocasilva Posted October 6, 2006 Author Posted October 6, 2006 ROFL, voted for your own thread. No, I didn't vote for this thread if that's what you're implying. Thanks for the support Smiter and Hellfire
Blue_Ninja0 Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Awesome. Thanks pedro. They should do this in europe!!
Guest Stefkov Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Is that seriously how small the sensor bar is?!? It looks as if you could lose it!
Tellyn Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 He didn't vote, I voted for the thread. It's a good thread aswell, thanks Pedro. What games were people playing with the Virtual Console controller?
pedrocasilva Posted October 6, 2006 Author Posted October 6, 2006 He didn't vote, I voted for the thread. It's a good thread aswell, thanks Pedro. What games were people playing with the Virtual Console controller?classic controller? I haven't seen it in photos, neither did I see Virtual Console menu's/games. (I could be wrong though)
Smiter Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Is that seriously how small the sensor bar is?!? It looks as if you could lose it! I know!! That bar is small. I think I read somewhere it was only around 20cm long? There was this cool clip showing someone playing Wii Sports Baseball, you could see both the player and his avatar. His movements were replicated on the screen, exactly and with no delay at all! Amazing. Must resist temptation to raid my savings for a LCD HDTV...
Tellyn Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/9002/imag00561od8.jpg I did mean that shot, but I now realise it's a Wiimote on its side.
ShadowV7 Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Ah great thread Pedro, must of taken a while. Seriously Nintendork shut up with your moaning.
ShadowV7 Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Ah you brought back my excitement for MP3. Am I imagining this or was there an interview ,I think it was Iwata, said that we could download Wii Demos and DS Demos, not 100% but if it's true maybe we could download the MP3 demo.
pedrocasilva Posted October 6, 2006 Author Posted October 6, 2006 Locations: New York - Nintendo World Store, Fusion Tour stop... and some other place. EDIT: Ah you brought back my excitement for MP3.Am I imagining this or was there an interview ,I think it was Iwata, said that we could download Wii Demos and DS Demos, not 100% but if it's true maybe we could download the MP3 demo. You're not imagining things, but that happened a while ago. I doubt they had a set on stone plan by then, infact... I think they lack a plan like that as of now. DS games would be easy, aswell as some light games such as "Wii Play" but a game like Metroid Prime 3 with engine+textures and all... It could take a few too many MB, hammering their servers, and perhaps the little 512 MB available on Wii, then there's the question baring to be asked of how many MB/s can this flash transfer, in order to achieve the same results as MP3 (reportedly) without loadings. Then again MP2 was a robust engine; we've seen it in demo discs like RE4 bonus disc, with lots of compressed video's and MP2 still managed to be a fully playable demo. In short, we'll see
