Harmonica Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Hey. I'm looking into gtting a new MP3 for uni as my old one broke at the start of Summer. I used to have the Sony NW-HD1 which was 20Gb and I enjoyed it muchso. Not sure what to get next though as they don't make that anymore and the new Sony NW-A3000 doesn't look so good, and my brother had one and didn't like it. Enough of this jibbering what MP3/HDD player would you recommend and why? Thankyou please.
Chanser Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Have a look here: http://www.dapreview.net/news.php I recommend the Creative Zen Vision: M.
UziT Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Its gota be the Creative Zen Vision M or the iPod Video! I myself have the iPod video its hreat never me let me down as of yet. Heard some great stuff about the Creative Zen....
mario_jr Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Yeah I read some good recomendations on some MP3 players. Its all here http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7 Next time search to see if your question has been posted before.
Charlie Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Get the new Video iPod when it comes out (hopefully in about an hour!!!!). It's rumoured to have a wide-touchscreen which takes up the full face of the iPod and it will be able to play just about all types of videos.
Platty Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I recommend the Creative Zen Vision: M. I totally agree. Vision M is the way forward.
Indie James Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 What size are you looking for? Well If you want to stick to sony, get the AW1000 (which was updated to 8gb not long ago) and It's about £120-£130. Only problems i got with it is the software Connect, its so shit (So stick with Sonicstage which you should have with your old sony mp3 player?) and The battery life on mine but that just seems to be mine thats fucked. The battery life is up to 20 hours supposedly so yeah...

UziT Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 As my iPod is still under warranty, would they replaced a "damaged" Nano with a new version? edit: Or is there a way to part-exchange? Go down to store and ask, maybe u might need pay ontop or something!
