As my good friend pointed out the other day, the scariest thing you will ever look at is a picture of an ENTRE GALAXY. It really does boggle the mind how big , weird and far away everything is, and tinsey-tiny we are.

Well, some planet(oid)s orbit each other AND a star, like Pluto and Charon (their barycenter is in between both of the planets, in space).

 

This is just the same thing happening, but with no star. It doesn't seem that weird to me

 

Well, actually the Moon orbits Earth and Earth orbits the Moon in a smaller degree.

It's nothing compared to those twin worlds though.

 

We are so ridiculously small, and the universe is so ridiculously big, that i can't help to think there must be millions of planets with life. And i mean any kind of life.

Yes, but the barycenter is below Earth's surface, so it's nowhere near as noticeable.
