SpinesN Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 fake, anything that says anything about a PPU at this point is very very fake Gonna have to agree. We have seen NOTHING that would even begin to hint at a PPU being in the revo. Beyond that if the PPU has it's own memory that's another big clue as to being fake. All nintendo systems since the n64 have had shared memory as it allows developers to chose how much to use for gfx, cpu calculations, etc... It's also cheaper
Dcubed Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 BS, you can't connect to the internet without an internet connection ROFL!
AeroScap Posted June 5, 2006 Author Posted June 5, 2006 methinks it is referring to the possibility of ad-hoc pseudo networking with another nearby Wii using wifi. Then that brings up the issue of leeching etc
DiemetriX Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 Let's just wait and see. It sounds to good to be true.
DCK Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 Will support HDR lighting, normal maps, bump-mapping, nurbs rendering, and panoramically-composted depth-composited cubemappng, ray-tracing.Yeah, right, ray tracing in real time... That means Nintendo shot down a UFO and took the hardware out of that. As for physics simulation, I'd say no to a PPU but yes to physics calculation in the shader department.
