kcl91 Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Question, can i plug my gamecube into my pc and play it on my monitor Thanx in advance, Kcl91
Guest Jordan Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Yes, you can. But first a small question, do you have a digital AV out on the back of your GameCube? (Before 2004 all GC's had them on).
kcl91 Posted May 28, 2006 Author Posted May 28, 2006 Yes I do, on the back of my GC it has a port saying 'Digital AV Out'. What's that for?
AshMat Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Yeah i was thinking about doing this, do you need to use the Digital AV one? i have the port but not the cable..
Darv Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 It depends on your monitor. If it takes an S-video input etc then thats the easiest way to do it. Else you will need a vga adapter and AFAIK they don't come especially cheap.
christophicus Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 Would it work if you got a tv card and then used the N64 cable to plug the GC into the tv card??

Can have up to 4 different things plugged into it and has a simple push button to switch between your PC and other equipment i.e Gamecube. I had my Dreamcast hooked up to it. Crazy Taxi all the way
Guest Jordan Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 I have the same kinda thing, but by Belkin. However its more geared towards having 2 PC's. Its a KVM (Keyboard, video, mouse). I use one end fully plugged in for my PC and only the VGA plugged into the other side for my 360.
AshMat Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 I think my GFX card has an s-video slot in the back (It's a GeForce 6200 so cpould some one check?) If i jsut get an S-Video cable and plug it in will that be ok?
