masaki86 Posted February 21, 2006 Share Posted February 21, 2006 It was 20 years ago today when The legend of Zelda was unleased on the gaming world in Japan, and since then, the series has garned the respect and acclaim as one of the greatest game series' ever. From the moment I booted up The Legend of Zelda on my NES, I was in love. 20 years, the same length of time I have been on this merry earth. 16 of those, I have been a Zelda fan. The integrity of the series has remained throughout, and the fact that Nintendo recognise the meaning of the series to so many fans, putting so much effort into each new game, and not diluting it like they have with the mario line really tells you how much Nintendo care for this child.
