If nothing else it at least sounds different in tone and presentation than what we've had up to this point in live-action, which I'm all for. I've only watched the first episode but I love the tone that has been set. It's so freaking refreshing to see greenery/bright and colourful sets in a Star Wars series. It's nice for them to get out of the desert for a change! 1

Hero-of-Time Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago It's Star Wars day which means I need to carry on my tradition of earning Star Wars related platinums to get the May 4th timestamp next to them. Lego and Demolition I played earlier in the year but held off on the double platinum for today. I didn't plan on playing Jedi Power Battles but it went on sale over the weekend and so picked it up. May the 4th be with you. 1
Hero-of-Time Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I've spent all morning continuing to watch Skeleton Crew. With 2 episodes to go, I absolutely love it. Probably the most enjoyable SW thing I've watched since Rebels. It's a proper mash up of Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean and Goonies. There's a real sense of adventure about the show and while there are serious moments, I like how chilled out the main story is. I'm not sure if they used a lot of practical effects for the various creatures or if the CGI stuff just looks better, but either way, I've been very impressed with how they look. 1
Hero-of-Time Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago All done. Fantastic series. Jude Law played his role perfectly and the kid actors were surprisingly good. My favourites were easily KB and Neel. Both of them were adorable and hilarious. My Star Wars day celebrations continued as I rolled straight into watching Tales of the Underworld. The Ventress episodes were interesting although a little confusing. I've not watched all of Clone Wars so I had no idea what had happened to her, which leads into how this story starts. The Cad Bane story was pretty good. From the limited time I've seen him, I've never really found him that compelling of a character and so it was nice to see a little backstory to him. 1
Hero-of-Time Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago My Star Wars binge has come to an end. Sat and watched Rebuild the Galaxy which was absolutely hilarious. First episode was a little slow but once the alternate universe storyline kicks in it becomes an enjoyable ride. Some of the differences from the proper timeline had me in stitches... Spoiler Admiral Ackbar being the clone troopers The ewoks being bounty hunters Ponda Baba and his mate being friendly (had a proper good laugh at this) Luke being a cheating pod racer Darth Jar Jar Palpatine being a Jedi Greedo dating Leia Also, Jedi Bob needs to be a thing in the main franchise.
