nekunando Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 It's been almost a decade since many of us were unboxing our new Wii consoles in December 2006 and Wii Sports was taking the world by storm. Where does the time go..? I'm sure there were plenty of you, like myself, who loved the game and took the daily Wii Fitness check which tested your skills in 3 random Training Mode challenges from any of the available sports. At the peak of our powers, the optimum age of 20 was no doubt achievable most days but where do we all stand now 10 years down the line? I can certainly tell you where I'm at.. 23 It's been a decent amount of time since I last played the game but I decided to jump straight into the Wii Fitness Test from the main menu without any practice to see what I would get now that I'm approaching 30 I was pretty happy with that but I'm curious to see if any of you are up to the challenge? Are any of you prepared to jump straight into it and post your results? Good Luck

nekunando Posted August 22, 2016 Author Posted August 22, 2016 Am currently lying on the couch pouring crisps into my mouth.... Get up, wash your hands and have a waggle Grabbing a controller directly after eating crisps should be a criminal offence Anyway, I followed up yesterday's 23 with a slightly more disappointing 28.. but it largely depends on which games you're given on any particular day. My biggest frustration today was that I missed the first 5 balls of the Home Run Contest, a game I used to rely on for a solid 8 or 9 in the past. Maybe I am getting a little creaky after all
RedShell Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Here you go then @nekunando: LOL @ old longhaired, pale Mii. Not as bad as I was expecting, but still pretty bad. Would've definitely been better if it hadn't given me bloody baseball, I've always been terrible at that. No one else taking on the spontaneous Wii Fitness challenge?
nekunando Posted August 30, 2016 Author Posted August 30, 2016 Thanks for giving it a go, @RedShell You may even find yourself playing it daily again.. at least for a few days, like me In addition to my previous results, I've had a couple of 20s and a 24. Tennis will always be the one to give me the best chance of success
