Esequiel Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 So last weekend i traded a few of the kids games in to get them Skylanders Swap Force. Played for an hour last weekend and then put it back on today. Literally completed an £85 piece of kit (read POS) in under 5 hours. We enjoyed the original and giants immensley, still havent finished giants actually but we have had hours and hours of fun messing around with the figures and getting all the bits done. Along comes swap force, looks great, new idea for the figures is great, plays great. But you can steamroller it, i mean shit, its so easy my 5 year old pretty much finished it with my 7 year old. Maybe iv been spoilt by Lego city undercover on the Wii U, but i feel cheated. I feel like they rushed the game in time for christmas and justify the length of the game with all the extras you need to do to 100% it. Extras that are not that fun after the first couple of times, and that seem to be there just to add a %. tl:dr Skylanders Swap Force is a rip off, its 8 days old and used. Any chance game will take it back?
Debug Mode Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 I'd say slim to none. If the seal has been opened, they probably wont take it back unless you wanted to trade it in/sell it to them.
Esequiel Posted October 27, 2013 Author Posted October 27, 2013 Pretty much what i figured >.> £60 trade in at Cex, woo fucking hoo. Last Skylanders game il be buying!
Agent Gibbs Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Ebay? the computer stores rip you off royally on trade in, for example they offered me £55 for my Limited Edition Zelda 3ds in mint condition in original box with Ocarina of time......they go for £160+on ebay and mines already at £112 with days left to go.....they offered me £95 for my Pikachu 3ds boxed...one just sold for £200 on ebay
Jimbob Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 There is little chance of being able to return it for full price once the seal has been broken, not unless you can think of a really exceptional reason. The dog opened it won't be bought. Your best chance, as it's been said is eBay or Gumtree. You can get a good price for it, near enough what you paid for it before postage.
