Babooo Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Anyone know when this game is coming out? I've read really good reviews for this and it looks superb. But I've looked around websites (amazon and GAME) and can't find it listed anywhere. Eurogamer has it listed for Feb 2006 but other then that, I can't find any info regarding the release date. Would appreciate your help.
Domstercool Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 I've got the american version of the game and I can tell you it kicks arse. The story isn't anything special but it has a fantastic presentation and will certainly make you laugh. It kinda mixes old school rpg gameplay with some. It certainly is one of the better RPGs of the year and so much fun to play. Buy and enjoy.
Pit-Jr Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Seconded. Ive got something like 75 hours logged on to this game and havent finished it yet. Import from my side of the pond if you must, its a good one.
|Laguna| Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 I also have this, fantastic game, truely beautiful, plus the voice acting is a real treat. One thing to note is that on general the random battles, while the system is faily generic, it is fairly original because the enemies are actually really chalenging, and you really have to look out in the beginning otherwise you end up dead (back at the chbruch with 1/2 your money : ( )
Hellfire Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 The game is set for April in Europe. Can't wait.
Pit-Jr Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 I finally beat this game after 85 hours (according to the save). While at least 5 of those hours were pathetically spent in the casino, its still a whopper of a game and a new sidequest with a different/better ending opens up after you finish it the first time Not sure if its been mentioned here but the dragon quest creator seems to want to make Rev games. http://gamecube.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3147037 Playing this or any RPG for that matter would be a breeze with the remote since theyre all menu-driven.
