Opened my 3DS today only to find this odd circle under my circle pad....like it still works...but its odd at first I thought it was off something else. However its definitely attached to the circle pad. Tried googling black disc under circle pad etc.... and nothing!

This coupled with my SD card breaking, I'm avoiding using my 3DS! Like do I leave it there (annoying) remove it (risky)

It looks to me if somehow the rubber seal from underneath the pad (that is actually in the system) has somehow popped out and is now sitting above the fascia (rather than hidden underneath it). Really weird!

This close to animal crossing?! Madness

All the more reason to get it sent ASAP. Nintendo's turnabout time is typically no longer than a week.

Nah not here...the postal service is horrendous. My dad's sent stuff special international delivery or whatever and it will get to Canada in like two days and then spend the best part of two weeks dithering it's way to me. Absolutely awful and overpriced service.

The stick still works. I'm guessing this plastic disc is some kind of washer. I looked on videos I would basically have to take a large part of the system apart to get to it. I don't fancy my chances never been any good at that kind of stuff. If it wears down and breaks then I'll sort it out. Or there is a place here that will replace the whole stick for $15 if it comes to it. (cheaper than it would cost me to mail it to Nintendo)

I still can't work out how the hell it came out. I tried sliding it back in. It has a slight slit in and I've managed to push it half way in before it just popped back out. Tried all sorts of things, tooth picks, pins, the hole is literally too small to let it back in! I've given up for fear of breaking it further.
