Beast Posted March 4, 2012 Share Posted March 4, 2012 Blood and Smith arrive at the new building in New Bond Street. White walls surround the building with the entrance being locked. "Do we bust in this bitch Starsky and Hutch style or do we knock politely?" asked Smith. All of a sudden, Blood got his gun out, prepared, and booted the door. Smith had got his gun out too and he followed. "POLICE, BITCH!" yelled Blood. The room was dark and silent except for a muffled sound. "Do you hear something?" asked Smith. Blood tried to listen out when all of a sudden, a song started to play. Audio "What is this?" asked Smith. Blood shrugged his shoulders. He got out his phone and put the flash on his phone to use as a torch. After doing so, he saw a brighter light beside him. Smith had a torch. "Always prepared" he said. They walked on. They came to what seemed to be a trap with a chair with two girls sitting on it, tied with barbed wire. Their mouths were taped shut but they were still alive. "Rose?" asked Smith. One of the girls muffled louder. "And I'm guessing you're Victoria, right?" Blood asked the other girl. The other girl nodded. Smith and Blood moved forward but then the girls attempted to scream. Blood and Smith stopped in their tracks and looked down on the floor, they could just about see a wire of some kind. "Shit, they're tied to something..." said Smith. All of a sudden, all of the lights came on at once. A single voice surrounded the room. "Well done Smith, you finally listened and got to the place where I wanted you to go and look, both are still alive! Only, it's not as simple as that. See, you need to find out my riddle to get the message. Fail to get the message, they both die. If you succeed first time, they'll both live on. One of you in this room will die and the others will live on. You have four lives so think very carefully." With that, the voice ceased talking and the lights went out. All around the room, glow in the dark paint illuminated the walls. On the walls were two messages, one facing Victoria, the other facing Rose. "All my heart, it breaks every step that you take" "Sometimes love is not enough" What does that mean? thought Blood. Blood looked at Smith and Smith looked puzzled. "I'm confused...." said Smith. "You know something?" "Yes but...this is saying something that makes no sense..." thought Smith. "So what is it then?" asked Blood. What do the messages mean? A) "It's this but it doesn't make sense" (Evidence needed) B) "I know what it is and I call his bluff on the answer!" "I believe I have accidentally solved the riddle" "What?" asked Blood. "The writings on the wall...they're lyrics from a song titled Born to Die...I think...I think we weren't meant to come here, Lucas...." Blood looked panicked yet his voice would have told you otherwise. "What do you mean?" "What I mean is that Rose and Victoria aren't meant to be alive...they were...well...they were Born to Die" Blood looked more confused. "I don't follow" And with those words followed two arrows shooting from either side of the wall towards both Victoria and Rose. Both arrows pierced through the flesh of the girls straight through to their hearts, killing them instantaneously. Blood and Smith watched as the life drained from their eyes, blood soaking their shirts. "Oh my God, get back-up now! We should never have come here alone!" No, you're right. You should never have come here, Lucas. I'm going to enjoy watching you suffer "WHO IS THIS!" shouted Blood. To think, all of those years you have spent catching these so-called crooks when the real problem is the one you look at in the mirror every day. You will not know when, you will not know how and you will not know who is doing this but you will know who these people are. Victoria and Rose are just the beginning, my friend. You've killed them! "NO, I DIDN'T!" You've killed them and there's no saving them. Can you save the others? Time's ticking, Blood! And with this, the sound of the man's voice had vanished. Victoria and Rose were used. They had nothing to do with this. Or did they? He must have picked them both for a reason. Would he really choose some random people from the street and kill them as if they were nothing.
