That notification thing has only happened to me once but it was fleeting. I'll have a look but honestly not quite sure how to Google it 🤔

If I had to guess I'd think it was an auto refresh problem when the site is checking if we have any notifications so it can show them on the notification bell.

But it is fetching the notifications as it's displaying that JSON object (unless the results are incorrect then it may be that's the placeholder). It's displaying the results in place of actually updating the component as far as I can see.
